If you have difficulty finding clothing for your baby’s sensitive skin, then you’re in luck. George at Asda clothing has launched the first high street range that includes Dreamskin polymer technology.
Clothing is an important part of helping a baby overcome skin complaints, such as eczema, which occurs when the skin lacks the right fats and oils to provide an effective barrier, allowing allergens to penetrate the surface of the skin and irritate and dry it out. This can lead to painful patches on the skin, and a very unhappy baby.
With one in two babies born with eczema, George at Asda have now announced that they've partnered with Dreamskin to offer babywear for sensitive skin.
Dreamskin is medically registered and currently prescribed on the NHS for babies suffering from sensitive skin complaints. In development for just over a year, the Dreamskin range uses the innovative polymer technology applied to cotton and is medically proven to soothe and protect babies’ skin.

With half of babies born in the UK suffering from eczema, the range is designed to help reduce friction , lower skin temperature, and repelling detergent residues from washing, which can irritate skin further.
The George range, which starts at £7, features bodysuits, sleepsuits, pajamas, dribble bibs and scratch mitts for babies from ‘tiny baby’ size through to two years old.
