Little Dish add two new vegetarian options to range

Providing your baby with a varied diet and introducing lots of different types of foods when he's weaning will help him to enjoy a varied diet later on in life.

An easy way to sneak veg onto your tot's plate, Little Dish have added two tasty new veggie options to their Finger Food range, Mini Veg Frittatas and Mini Veg Bites. Packed with veg, they are 100 per cent natural with no artificial colours, flavours or preservatives plus low salt and no added sugar.

Both are ready-to-eat so they make a quick and easy addition to a playdate platter, nutritious picnic partner or savoury lunchbox filler.

"This new range from Little Dish is vegetarian, so it will suit even more little ones' needs," says Dietitian & Mum Lucy Jones (MRES BSC Hons RD MBDA). "They can be served with wholegrains, pulses and salad or veg for a quick, nutritious meal or eaten alone as an on-the-go healthy snack."

A protein-packed finger food for little foodies, Mini Veg Frittatas are made with three different types of veg – including spinach, leeks and onion – and baked with free-range British eggs, creamy Ricotta and tasty Cheddar cheese. The fluffy soft texture is perfect for curious mouths to explore, and they’re just the right size for little hands to hold. They can be eaten hot or cold, making them a nutritious on-the-go snack or savoury lunchbox filler.

Perfect if you’re trying to get more plant power into your little one’s diet, the Little Dish Mini Veg Bites are made them with 75% veg – including sweet potatoes, kale and onion with fibre-packed chickpeas – all mixed together with a hint of spice for a flavour twist. Serve with wholegrain rice and plenty of veg for a nutritious mini meal, or a little pot of natural yoghurt for a tasty on-the-go snack.

These melt-in-the-mouth Mini Cod Fishcakes are made with 100% sustainably sourced Atlantic cod fillet, a creamy Cheddar cheese sauce, petits pois and fluffy mashed potato, covered in a crispy golden crumb. Serve as a protein-packed savoury snack, in yummy mini cod burgers or as part of a main meal with mashed sweet potato and veg.

These Mini Cod Goujons are made with 100% sustainably sourced, protein-packed Atlantic cod, and covered in crispy, golden breadcrumbs. They're low salt, with no added sugar, making them a healthy way to get plenty of fish into your Tiny Taster. Serve with sweet potato wedges and mushy peas for a tasty toddler tea or in a wholemeal wrap, with cucumber slices, for a fresh take on a fish finger sandwich.
