Testing Little Freddie Greek Style Yoghurts

Our mum testers were pleased with the packaging of these and liked that the lovely clear writing made it easy to see what the ingredients were, which for many is essential as a busy working mum, as they need to quickly be able to identify what feeding their child.

Parents also liked that there were a selection of different flavours, with six to pick from. "The pouches were quick to use and provided a wide variety of flavours and both sweet and savoury options," said Rufaro. "It was clear that there is an effort to use higher quality ingredients and for the benefit of first tastes, there were some very interesting choices. The pouches are easy to use and portable and don't require refrigeration so can be used on the go."

The pouches were easy for little ones to squeeze themselves and parents liked they could either spoon-feed their child, let them do it themself or drizzle it on the top of whatever breakfast they were having.

Testers who tried the product themself found the yoghurt tasted great and were happy to give it to their baby. "The consistency is nice, it’s not too watery and not too dense. It seems to help with my baby’s digestion since he poops so well within days of eating them," one tester commented.

Final thoughts

A couple of testers felt the price of the yoghurts was too high whereas others wanted to see it in a wider range of supermarkets. "If you were able to buy this product in larger quantities and receive a discount it would be a huge incentive to purchase online for those it's not in a store near them," one mum commented.

Parents thought these yoghurts were perfect for on-the-go as the pouches don’t require refrigeration and they are easy to transport as pouches are sturdy. There was no need to take a bowl as they could be used straight off the spoon. None of our testers had issues with leaking.

"They are easy to take out with you as they are thin and don’t take up much space in your bag and yet it’s a good portion," said another tester.

The yoghurt itself was a huge hit with our testers. "Mainly because of the pure ingredients, it genuinely feels like I'm giving him something fresh and something that I have prepared," said mum Katrina. "I like that is simple ingredients and not too exotic."
