We spoke to these real parent testers to get their review...

How did this product make your life easier?

Alice: This nappy is very easy to use and I have experienced no leaks which is brilliant-less worry and less washing! They last well overnight which is important for the best possible night’s sleep for everyone.

Amy: This nappy performs well and is reliable which makes life easier when having a baby. It contains even the messiest of nappies meaning no extra clothes are needed. Extra washing is the last thing I need. It looks good and is easy to get on when my child isn’t rolling around like a crocodile. I did find it moved about a lot in comparison to my usual brand but my little one doesn’t like to keep still so that could be the reason.

Ellie: The nappy performs as a nappy should do, it is easy to put on and take off and the nappy tabs are easily accessible. There was no stretching of the sides which meant it fitted my baby well and the nappy feels soft which is good when you know this will be used on delicate skin.

Would you recommend this to other parents?

Danni: Yes, I would absolutely recommend ALDI Nappies to my family and friends. A nice simple design and a nice low price and bar the issue I had overnight, they work perfectly.

Katie: Yes, I already have. I find these nappies a lot softer than other nappies we have used. There were less leakages which means they are more cost effective and comfortable for my baby.

Loren: Yes definitely as they are such great value and do exactly what you expect them to do. Considering how active my baby is now, they moved well with her body. They were easy to put on and to dispose of. I am not overly keen on the pattern but that wouldn’t put me off buying them again in the future.

Would you choose this product above all others on the market?

Sandra: We will definitely be getting these nappies again. We usually use pampers, which are much more expensive but find that these are not only cheaper but I think that they feel nicer too.

Sarah: I would unfortunately not choose this nappy above the other on the market as although they are more inexpensive I do feel as though the quality of the material reflects this and they did feel a bit more flimsy when they were fitted onto baby. I think due to this they did tend to leak when they had been used overnight or for long periods of time whereas other brands which fit better do not.

Tracy: I would rate this nappy very highly and believe it does deserve to win the best disposable nappy, they look great whilst being good quality and cost-effective. They fulfil all qualities I look for in a nappy, they do not leak, can last 12 hours overnight and do not irritate the skin. I have a front sleeping baby and found that using other brands they would often leak at the front overnight, but have so far had no such occurrence of this with the Mamia nappies.

What changes would you make to this product?

Alice: To use more compostable or biodegradable materials within the product. If the reliability of the nappy was maintained with this incorporated it would be unbeatable.

Amy: I found when my baby moved around the nappy became loose around the stomach and sometimes moved around the bum. She does like to move a lot and due to her age (11 months) she is always up on her feet, then sitting back down and cruising/crawling around. If I were to change anything it would be the fit around the stomach but in all honesty, it never caused us any problems it was more a visual concern than anything else.

Loren: I would change the pattern of the nappies. I wasn’t overly keen as there is a lot going on with the different animals/ colours. I would prefer subtle colours and maybe just a simpler design with one animal so the nappies aren’t as visible through the baby grows!
