You can't hold your baby all the time, even though you may want to! That's why the Nuna CUDL carrier is designed to keep your baby close and secure, all while keeping your busy hands free.

And it seems our Mother&Baby Awards 2021 voters agreed on this carrier as a must-have, as the CUDL took the top spot in the baby carrier category. Here's a little more about the product, plus some of the real parent reviews...

Best Baby Carrier/Sling - Gold winner

Not only is CUDL stylish and secure, it's also designed with comfort in mind, for you and your baby. Thanks to its 145cm adjustable hook and loop waistband, padded shoulder straps and wide secure waist belt which evenly distributes baby’s weight, you can know your baby is safe and snug.

It’s made with breathable mesh fabric and padded shoulder and waist straps, as well as being designed in a way so that you can adjust and put it on alone. The four magnetic buckles make securing on-the-go quick, simple, and secure, whilst the adjustable yoke keeps shoulder straps connected. All locking zippers are covered to add security and ensure no contact with baby’s skin.

Four carry positions provide optimal support as your child grows, ensuring the healthy body positioning necessary in spine and hip development. CUDL can be used from birth up to three years. You can carry your child front facing, parent facing, or out (up to 18 months) or on the back (up to 36 months) - the choice is yours. The integrated booster will keep baby facing in and snuggled, and easily unzips as your child grows.

The waist belt also boasts a zip open storage pocket that fits iPhone 8 plus. Warm weather-ready, mesh fabrics allow air to flow and attached hood shades baby from the sun. The fabric – baby certified Oeko-Tex - is machine washable, and this includes the removable infant head support.

CUDL comes with two GOTS™ certified organic cotton bibs and is available in two different material finishes - Slate and Night.

What the reviews say...

Mum of two Ashleigh Brough says: 'This sling is so easy to put on by yourself and wear for long periods it meant I could easily get on with anything around the house or chase after my toddler outside. My baby felt secure and safe at all times and the range of positions he could go in meant he was always happy! It is obviously a very comfy sling as he slept in it nearly every time he has been in it. the velcro waist strap meant I could easily change the fit every time I put it on, meaning the faff of leaving the house with two children was cut down.'

Danielle Smith says: 'I think this is a great baby carrier and I would absolutely recommend this to other mums. Compared to other baby carriers I have used, this just felt like a really high-quality item, from usability to design. It has everything I would look for in a baby carrier. Everything has been thought of – design, comfort, usability. Even down to the extra features such as the newborn insert and sickness pads – great for my reflux baby.'

Alexandra Bufton says: 'I found this a brilliant carrier. Having used many different styles of carriers and wraps with my older two I have lots of experience and struggled to find one which has it all. Once set up it’s very quick to put on and simple clips all can be done one handed. Great for long walks as padded and comfy but not too bulky. I like to take it in the car so can just strap baby to me if i don’t need the pushchair for quick shop trips for example.'
