Testing the Pote Plus My First WC

When I first took the toilet out of the box I was impressed at the size and look of it. It's the perfect height for a toddler to sit on, higher than a standard potty so a more natural comfy sitting position.

My daughter loved it at first sight and soon realised she could press to "flush" and the button would light up with a realistic flushing noise. It has helped massively with toilet training as it teaches the whole routine of going, wiping and flushing.

I was really impressed by it. I liked that it was easy to clean and that the inner bowl could be removed rather than having to move the whole toilet when emptying it.

The toilet roll/wipe holder was a great help too. The button to hear the flush was easy to push and was in the same position as our toilet so will make the transition to that easier as it's the same place to flush.

The only other toilet based potty I've seen does not offer the same functionality of a toilet roll/wipe holder so this compares favourably. It is unique in its design in that it looks like a real toilet not a cartoon version so looked more at home in my bathroom and will make the transition to the real toilet easier. I love it and wish it had been around for my older daughter.

Final thoughts

The only small thing I would change is the size of the toilet roll/wipe holder as it was too small to fit a full roll of toilet roll in, I had to use half used rolls to make them fit in the holder which wasn't as convenient as just being able to put a new one in each time. I wouldn't change anything else about this, it was excellent.
