At a glance:
This highchair does exactly what it says on the box – it’s affordable and the six different positions allow you to move the highchair up and down so you can be level with your little one, no matter where you feed them. That said, our mum testers wished the legs were a little sturdier.
What they say:
“Now your children can have the best seat in the house with the Cuggl Pumpkin Deluxe Highchair. It gives them six seat positions and a reclining seat so they will always find the right position. The wipe clean seat has extra padding for added luxury. There is a 5-point harness for safety and the tray is removable and dishwasher safe.”

I think it meets a lot of the needs we had when looking at highchairs – we wanted something comfortable yet functional and this more than meets those requirements. The legs are easy to fold out and it's a breeze changing heights - which in itself is an excellent feature, as it means I can be level with my daughter regardless of where we feed her.
How did the product make your life easier?
I find the green removable top tray makes cleaning my daughter a lot easier after she's eaten. If she gets food all over her hands I can remove the top tray and clean her hands without any worry that she'll put the clean hand back in her food. She's also more than happy to sit in the comfortable seat while I clean up any mess that remains.

I think this product is definitely one that I would choose, as there are many features, such as the different seat heights, that didn't even cross my mind when I was looking at other options. My main requests were comfort and the ability to fold it down to fit into small spaces, and it does this as well as having a strong harness, changeable heights and lightweight frame.
What changes would you make to the product?
I would like it if the legs locked when the chair was folded down. I find if I go to pick it up one handed whilst holding my daughter, the legs extend to their full length. It would be good if they locked into the height they were at when folded, as it would make carrying them a lot easier.

I would recommend this product to my friends firstly because of the design. It has a beautifully coloured pattern, which is eye catching and absolutely stunning. It is height adjustable, making it much more convenient at feeding times, and you can adjust it either to the highest setting for a taller table, or the lowest, for a picnic in the garden. It folds down smaller than most highchairs, which makes it easier to put away and hide. The highchair has a clip-on tray, which is super easy to remove and clean, which is always a bonus.
How did this product make your life easier?
This product makes my life much easier as it's highly adjustable. After using other highchairs that don't have this feature, I now very much appreciate it. It's literally life changing! I can set it to match my table height; or on a lazy day lower it to match my sofa; even on the lowest setting we can sit in the garden and have a picnic without feeling like my son is missing out. It's definitely made my life much easier with this function.

This product is absolutely stunning, but wouldn’t, unfortunately, be my first pick, as I feel it could be a lot more stable. The back legs have a slight wobble, which isn't an issue as the highchair is perfectly safe, but is still very annoying more than anything, but for the price it's advertised at you can't go wrong. I'm a firm believer of you get what you pay for, and on a budget, this highchair would definitely be a top pick for many, as it has a stunning design, folds down fairly compact, and is super easy to clean.
What changes would you make to this product?
If I could change one this about this highchair it would be to make it a little less wobbly when moving it around. Once you have unfolded the highchair there is a slight but noticeably wobble on the back legs. If this could be changed, it’d be perfect!

I would recommend this product to another mum because it has so many amazing features. I absolutely love the adjustable heights. They're so easy to use, and it means my little one can sit at the same height as us whether we're sat on the sofa and he's having a snack, or we’re sat at the table and he's having dinner with us. I also love the removable tray, as it makes it so easy to clean and reuse.
How did this product make your life easier?
Before I had this highchair I used a basic brand and it was so fiddly and difficult to clean, bits of food often got stuck between the straps. Since having this highchair it's been an absolute lifesaver at meal times, as it's so, so easy to clean, no food gets stuck anywhere, and the removable tray makes it much easier to wash any leftover dinner from the highchair!

Having used this for a good week now, I would definitely choose this over all the other highchairs on the market. One criticism I have about the product is that it's not very easy to build, and the instructions weren't very good at all, but once it's built, it’s such a lovely and easy high chair to use that I'd never consider using any other brand now!
What changes would you make to this product?
If I could change one thing about the product it would definitely be the sturdiness. I do sometimes feel the frame is a little bit flimsy, especially where the tray clips on to the highchair. The way the legs fold out is also slightly irritating, as it just doesn't seem completely secure. Other than that, I love the product and think it's a lovely highchair to use day in day out!

I like the look and design of the product, especially when it is in my kitchen, so that is important. I think I would recommend it for the apparent comfort too, as my son really likes sitting in it. It is also really handy that the height is adjustable, and I love that the product folds flat for storage, which is something I haven't seen before, and really appreciate.
How did this product make your life easier?
I think that the product is good, especially because the design looks good. It’s super handy that the tray can go in the dishwasher and that the height is adjustable. I also like the comfortable cushion, as it is nicely padded, making it really comfortable for my son. It is so simple to put it together and get my son into it, and he always feels really safe.

The only thing I don't like about this product is the tray, as it doesn't seem to fit very well, so even though it is adjustable, it doesn't always slide well between the sizes and falls off easily. That said, I really like that the material is comfortable and that it’s got a smart design, plus, its pretty good value for money. I like that around the edges it is extra protected to avoid staining. It is a simple but very effective idea that was definitely noticed.
What changes would you make to this product?
The tray. Though it is a clever idea, it isn’t quite right. On my Tesco own highchair, you can slide it back and forward, meaning that you can fit baby in and then adjust it to fit. On the Cuggl, however, you have to take the tray off to put baby in, and then refit the tray once they’re sat down, as it doesn't slide well and you have to squeeze the two sides in in order for the tray to fit. Overall, it's not very easy to use, and has fallen off quite a lot too.

If I were to recommend anything to a fellow friend or mum about this highchair, it would be the price. There are people like myself who simply cannot afford the expense of a highchair, and this one is good value for money compared to others on the market. It is also very easy to clean as it has a removable tray with two parts to it, making it easy to remove and wash. The seat compartment is also very easy to clean, as it has a wipeable material, and the design is very eye catching, and would suit either a boy or a girl. It also has a five-point harness that I found helpful to keep my daughter in place. It does, however, have a stump in the front middle of the seat that, in my opinion, could hurt a little one.
How did this product make your life easier?
As a mum, I didn't find this product helped me at all. It is a large high chair with a small seat. My daughter is currently in a cast due to having DDH, so I found it extremely hard to put her in the seat. There are plastic molds around the seat with a plastic stump in the middle, so there was no room to spread out. The highchair, once built, does fold to a good, compact size, and is easy enough to store away. I found that once folded, the chair would stick out a bit far, so unless it is stored away from sight it would be easy to bump into. I also found it hard to build, although the instructions initially look easy to follow. It comes in a small box with the legs already attached. These legs then need to be taken off before the building begins. The instructions show where to put the screws for the feet rest under the chair, but it isn't easy to do, as the seat gets in the way. It took two people to build this high chair.
Would you choose this product to win?
The only reason I would choose this product above all the others available would be because of the value for money, as it is a very reasonable price compared to other brands currently on the market. I don't think this highchair should win, but only for simple reasons such the tightness of the seat and the confusing building instructions. However, I do think it should be praised for the value for money, as it's a fantastic price for a high chair, and is also very easy to clean.
What changes would you make to this product?
If I could change anything about this high chair it would be the instructions. The instructions are very basic, with pictures but no explanation of any of the parts. It's more a case of figuring it out on your own.
