Being heavily pregnant did not stop some of Hollywood’s biggest names stealing the style show at the Oscars last night.
Forget which films won what last night. For us, the Oscars was all about how ah-mazing the pregnant stars looked on the red carpet.
Mums-to-be Kerry Washington and Olivia Wilde showed that a little thing like a big bump didn’t stop them looking incredible. As did Kristin Cavallari and Chris Hemworth’s wife Elsa, who’s preparing for the arrival of her twins.
While all three stars opted for elegant floor-length gowns, each look was very different and – we think you’ll agree – amazing.
Olivia, 29, who’s expecting her first baby with actor husband Jason Sudeikis took to the red carpet with her hubby in tow. The actress opted for a high-necked and sleeveless black Valentino number that flattered her bump, teaming her look with an elegant up do.
Kerry, 37, chose a half-up hair do, leaving her locks loose around her shoulders. The first time mum wore a strapless purple Jason Wu gown that flowed comfortably over her bump.

Meanwhile Thor actor Chris Hemsworth’s wife Elsa, 37, who already has a two-year-old daughter India Rose, flaunted her new figure in an Elie Saab dress. The Spanish beauty opted to style her green embellished gown with a side parting up do and on-trend statement earrings.

Kristin Cavallari also rocked her pregnancy curves on the red carpet last night, choosing to wear a white Alexander McQueen dress with cap sleeves. The TV presenter, 27, is expecting her second son with hubby Jay Cutler.
In other pregnancy news, rumours emerged last night that Reese Witherspoon may be pregnant with her fourth child – her second with husband Tim Roth. The Legally Blond actress was papped with what looked like a small bump, but nothing has been confirmed yet. We’ll keep you updated!
