Would you recommend this to other mums?

Rebecca: Yes I would recommend it. I have already got my friend to purchase one as she is pregnant and is in a lot of pain and she loves the pillow. Some mums could really benefit from this pillow and enjoy it! Personally, I wouldn’t buy it or use it again but I do think it could be amazing for other expecting mothers.

Jade: I have and still do recommend this product to other mums. The design is lovely and very neutral, it’s made of subtle colours and would easily go with any bedroom design. It wasn’t too bulky that you couldn’t put it away but it was slightly on the large scale. For the ease and comfortableness of the product, I would recommend it.

Nadya: As a first-time mum I had not set out to co-sleep. However, with a baby that cluster fed for 12 hours and only slept next to me, this became something I had to consider for my own sanity. The careful design of the outer pillow allows my baby to sleep next to me safely and gave me the ability to feed in bed. This pod has been amazing for those colicky nights when my baby won’t settle and just wants to be near me. It is very easily transportable and this pillow allowed me to experiment with several feeding positions.

How did this product make your life easier?

Anna: I have used this as a sleep pillow in pregnancy, a breastfeeding support cushion and now a sleep pod for my son. The pillow is supportive, helped me stay comfortable and I slept well until I delivered. As a breastfeeding cushion, it has helped my back. The cushion folds in half for storage which is handy. For the price, I think an extra cover should be included as washing and drying the cover in a day is not always possible. The information around sleep pods is extremely confusing. Clear safety information would have been helpful.

Tiffany: This product was great because it had two uses. Originally as a maternity pillow and the other as a baby sleep pod. I found the maternity pillow mostly easy to use. Although I sometimes struggled to get in and out of bed whilst wrapped up in it. I use the baby sleep pod as somewhere for my daughter to lie down whilst I am busy tidying up.

Laila: This product is great. It was comfortable to use as a feeding pillow. My baby was comfortable and snuggled in it and therefore slept longer making it easier to do jobs. I could relax knowing she was comfortable and safe as she couldn’t roll out of it.

Would you choose this product to win?

Lucy: I haven’t looked at any of the other options as I hadn’t considered buying a sleep pod for my baby. After using it, I think it is a really good product to buy if you are looking for a maternity support pillow plus a baby sleep pod. It is a good product used in either way.

Isabelle: I would not choose this product above others. Even though the maternity pillow is great, very useful and comfortable I did not think the sleep pod was useful for my newborn baby. The recommended age is 0-12months which is a very large age group and at this stage and I did not feel the pod would cradle my newborn and offer a better sleep for them.

Emily: It is a great product that makes life easy as a mum. It is a supportive and comfortable pillow that can be easily moulded to fit around your body. It can also be used to support you and your baby when breastfeeding. It is a useful two in one product.

What changes would you make to this product?

Jenny: I would make the uses of the pod more explicit with clear diagrams and the benefits listed. Most new mums don’t have time to access the website and research how to use the product, with its luxury price tag, to its full potential. This would set the Sleep Pod aside from its cheaper competitors. I would recommend it to friends, assuring them that it is worth the money as on first looks at the packaging it has limited uses. I would also introduce an easier way to store the Sleep Pod when not in use.

Rebecca: I would make the product smaller. I used it as a maternity pillow but found it was way too big and that it took up all the bed. My partner hated me using so if it were made a bit smaller it would be easier to use while sharing a bed with someone.

Jade: I might change the way it folds down. It could be smaller but it is not essential as it folds in half which is enough. Lowering the price would make people more likely to purchase the product. Since testing it out, I would pay the price.
