Lidl knows the most important things when choosing a nappy are dryness, protection and comfort. That's why their nappies now have the magical absorbing tubes to ensure ultimate dryness and leakage protection. There is no need to pay a premium price for a premium nappy with these high-quality but low price nappies from Lidl. They are dermatologically tested, latex free, skin-friendly and independently tested. Protecting the environment is also important, therefore the padding used is from sustainably managed forests. The slim design means fewer materials, less packaging and less energy, helping to minimise the companies carbon footprint.
Would you recommend this to other mums?
Kelly: I would recommend this product because the quality of the product is comparable to more expensive brands except they are half the price. They are very easy to use and true to size. The tabs are sticky and can stay in place even with the most active toddler. They are very absorbent and I never had any issues with leaks even overnight (up to 12 hours). I never expected much from this product as a budget nappy but I have been proved wrong and will definitely continue to use them.
Gemma: I would definitely recommend this product to my friends and family who have babies. The price is great and I love how it does what it says it will do. The design is fun but not too over the top. Very easy to fit the nappy to the child and take off. The hygiene of the nappy would be something I raved about. I didn’t experience leaks or tears when taking the nappy off. I think other mums would be as amazed as I am with this product, especially with the price. You would expect to pay more for a product this good.
Anna: They are absorbent and soft. They are very good value for the price and they didn't give my daughter nappy rash or leak at all.
How did this product make your life easier?
Sharon: This product is great as they are very thin, meaning you can fit loads more in your changing bag and as we buy our nappies in bulk they don’t take us quite so much room in the cupboards. That being said nothing has been compromised. Great absorbency which is the most important thing in a nappy.
Helen: I really like this brand of nappy! I've never used them before. I found the Lupilu brand to be excellent in terms of performance and design. They protected my son for full nights sleep with no leaks, redness or soreness leaving his skin dry to the touch. I am converted!
Catherine: These nappies have a good, fun design. The nappies come in well sized packets which are easy to pack when going away. There have been no leakages and the nappies seem comfortable for my son.
Would you choose this product to win?
Sara: I think this nappy should definitely be a contender for winning the best nappy award. The value for money, longevity and comfort of the product are all the things that I look for in a nappy brand. The slightly feminine design could be reworked a little and possibly less of a plastic feel to the nappies would be good. These are very minor details and when you talk about the cost of them, it would be insignificant.
Dorota: I think that Lupilu have improved their product. They are much softer and they are a good fit for my baby. I have been using other brands before but I couldn’t be happier with these. They are a great price for a great product. There is no leaking and they hold in mess for a long time. The product is very good and I do not see a difference between them and other brands.
Kelly: Lupilu nappies are half the price of other brands. I have been a nappy snob for the last 18 months. I have tried other brands and not liked any of them because they felt cheap and had issues with leaking. Now converted to Lupilu nappies. I cannot believe how cheap they are but the quality of them is so good! I really think this product should win the award for value for money. The key stand out thing for these nappies are the cost per nappy. Lidl is not my usual place for shopping but it is well worth the extra trip.
What changes would you make to this product?
Gemma: I honestly would not change a single thing about this product. I might add different designs for boys and for girls. When children get a little older I think it appeals more to the child if the designs are different. Other than that, I can not praise this product highly enough. I will be stocking up on them very soon as it makes my life so much easier.
Anna: I used them through the summer. Often, they would be the only item of clothing my daughter was wearing during the heatwave. I found that when she wasn't wearing shorts or leggings, the nappies struggled to stay on. The sticky tabs would pull and become unstuck and have to be changed. She is 18-months-old so very active and I often found myself changing her into another brand of nappy because these couldn't keep up with her.
Sharon: There’s only one thing I would change about these Lupilu nappies. In the smaller sizes they have a wetness indicator strip, but not in anything bigger than a size three. It is annoying as sometimes it’s good to get a visual before stripping the baby off completely (especially if it is unnecessary). However, this is true of a lot of the brands out there.
