Testing the Seedling Baby multi-fit pocket nappy

Our parent testers put the Seedling Baby multi-fit pocket nappy to the test and here is what they thought.

Helen said: "I was shocked it was sent all the way from sunny Australia, I have family over there who have said about this brand in the past (sharing posts from the company etc.) as they have children. I love this nappy as it's so versatile, I can use it as a pocket with my boosters, or I can use it with the pre-fold nappy inner supplied. I'm glad they sent an instruction booklet as the fold is different to my little lambs and close pops."

Jonquil said: "The pocket nappy arrived in lovely packaging. The design was beautiful. It was very easy to use although not as easy as an all-in-one style cloth nappy. It fits both my 8-month-old and my 2.5-year-old, because of the clever poppers that allow the size to be adjusted. The nappy didn’t leak at all and looked comfortable on both my children. It washed very well and still looks as good as new after several washes."

Poorni said: "Love everything about these nappies, designs, prints, fit, ease of use - everything! I have a heavy wetter so struggled to find a nappy that wasn't too bulky on her, but this nappy lasted more than 1.5/2 hours. One of these can comfortably last 4 hours+ and they are great for containment. The inserts are really absorbent and overall this nappy is definitely a favourite for both me and my husband."

Yordanka said: "My toddler didn't like it at all, she was constantly pulling it down. I think it's just not for every child, or I may have introduced it too late. It felt a bit plasticky to be honest and the insert was moving quite a bit. The design is quite nice and attracts a child's eye. It washes and dries well. It may be suitable for younger kids or babies so you get them used it and they don't know any different."

Claire said: "The nappy was simple to adjust to my son, Freddie's size, and get on and off for changes. The cloth was easy to get in and out of the nappy and held more moisture than I was expecting. I was also pleased to avoid any leaks for both urine and solids! While reusable nappies are obviously much bulkier than disposable, this didn't seem to phase Freddie in anyway and he seemed very comfortable in the product."

Jasmine said: "I found the overall experience with this product fantastic, it was a really good quality product and very durable in the wash. It held a good level of urine and poo and didn’t cause any issues with my daughter's nappy rash. I did find the sizing not that good as it was large so I think a smaller baby would struggle for a good fit."
