Best weighted blanket
aden + anais baby products - Moody nordic : Sherpa Toddler-Bed Weighted Blanket 1.2 KGS
Price: £34 ( was £85)

www.adenandanais.co.uk

This blanket uses two ultra-soft fabrics. The velvety fleece combines with extra plush and the sherpa material creates the ultimate bedtime blanket for toddlers. We love how soft this blanket feels and the gorgeous hand-drawn print.

Weighted blankets are a great way to help children settle quickly for sleep.

Mother&Baby Product & Lifestyle product writer, Hannah James said: "My son is a notoriously bad sleeper. He is often up hours after I initially put him to bed. I tried everything: white noise, lights, darkness. You name it, we tried it. Then, I tried this weighted blanket. Without sounding too dramatic. It changed my life. I found that my son was going to bed easier and quicker. This meant a much less stressed mummy and a happier son. We call it his 'Magic blanket'. Also, I have noticed when he is feeling stressed or overwhelmed, he likes to go and sit under it. It is amazing how one blanket can give him so much comfort. The quality is second to none. I have been recommending it to all of my friends."

Are aden + anais blankets worth it?

We think that aden + anais blankets and products are worth the price tag. However, this is all relative to your budget. The brand pride itself on creating beautifully hand-crafted products. All of the new range has great eco-credentials as they extend their pledge to creating sustainable products. All of the products put both parents and babies at the centre of all products. These are products that have been created to last whilst focusing on comfort, durability and ascetically pleasing designs.

How to swaddle aden + anais products?

  1. Firstly, get out your aden + anais muslin blanket and lay it on a flat surface like a cot, bed or changing mat. Fold the material into a triangle by folding back one corner. Place your little one in the centre with the shoulders just below the folded corner.

  2. Place your baby’s right arm beside the body, slightly bent. Take the same side of the swaddle and pull it securely across your little one's chest, keeping the right arm under the fabric. Tuck the edge of the swaddle under the body, leaving the left arm free.

  3. Fold the bottom corner of the swaddle up and over your baby’s feet. Tuck the fabric into the top of the swaddle by their shoulder.

  4. Repeat what you did for the right side by placing your baby’s left arm alongside the body, slightly bent. Take the same side of the swaddle and pull it securely across your baby’s chest, keeping the left arm under the fabric. Tuck this side of the swaddle underneath your baby.
