Would you recommend this to other mums?

Kerrie: I probably wouldn't recommend this to a friend. I couldn't justify spending £55 on any blanket, even if it is merino and organic. It did feel lovely. It was just a bit of a faff to use. It is a nice blanket but it is not quite cool enough for a summer blanket nor warm enough for the winter.

Elizabeth: I would recommend this product because of how easy it makes swaddling a baby. This gives the mum more rest as the baby is soothed. The material is very soft and the natural fibres mean that it is easier for the baby to maintain the correct body temperature so is less likely to overheat.

Sophie: I would recommend this product but some may think it is overpriced for a blanket. It has washed really really well since we have had it and it has not bobbled or lost its shape. My daughter loves to snuggle into the soft material. It's lightweight and easy to pack in a nappy bag for going out. Above all, it has always kept her warm.

How did this product make your life easier?

Isabelle: It makes my life easier as it is so light and small. I can fold it and put it in my everyday bag. This means I always have a blanket with me which is usually not possible with other blankets. It is lovely and soft and will not irritate newborn skin, which saves me from worrying.

Aditi: Newborn babies usually require swaddling due to their reflex. I wrapped my baby snug in this blanket from a few weeks of age with great ease and comfort. The stretchy nature meant that I could get it snug enough that the baby could not undo the blanket, yet allowed some movement and flexibility when asleep.

Sophie: I love this swaddle wrap blanket. It is so soft and feels perfect for delicate newborn skin. It is beautifully crafted and a lot of time has clearly been taken to create something special. It is expensive but I think can be justified for a really special blanket that your baby will love for a long time.

Would you choose this product to win?

Mei: I would choose this Roots & Wings Organic Merino Swaddle Wrap Blanket to win. It is lightweight, soft and made with organic wool. This makes me feel confident when using it on my little one. Because of the organic wool used, this blanket is breathable unlike others made from synthetic fibre.

Laura: Given its price, this is undoubtedly at the luxury end of the blanket market. Given the quality of the organic material, I do not think that it is excessive. The beautifully packaged appearance when it arrives and the lovely soft texture means this really feels like a luxury item. If you want a special blanket for your baby to treasure then this is just perfect.

Kerrie: I wouldn't choose this over other swaddle blankets. I prefer a more structured swaddle. This would keep falling apart and I had to keep wrapping it around which was disturbing my baby.

What changes would you make to this product?

Elizabeth: There is nothing that I would change about this product. The one thing I did not like about it was that it had to be washed with wool detergent on a delicate wash. However, this is due to the material used and that is what makes this blanket unique.

Sophie: I wouldn't change anything about this product. It's soft on my daughter's skin, easy to use and washes well. The swaddle wrap is nice and breathable. The swaddle wraps come in a beautiful array of colours. Even though we only managed to swaddle my daughter in it a few times it was easy to use. It came with some brilliant instructions on how to swaddle our baby correctly.

Isabelle: I wouldn't change anything about the product itself. However, it is too expensive for what it is. It is lovely quality and a lovely design but I would not be able to afford this blanket. It is undoubtedly the comfiest, softest blanket my baby owns so the price is a shame.
