Would you recommend this to other mums?
Kate-Louise: I’d recommend this product to fellow mums and friends because of its ease of use. The fact it is easy to fit and remove is brilliant. The product can also be tumble dried which is fantastic. While using this product we didn’t have any leaks during the night so I’m unable to say whether the waterproof element is of a good standard.
Nikki: This mattress protector seems to do the job it states, although we haven’t had any accidents or needed to change the bedding during the night yet. It is good value for money as it is not an expensive option, and fits the cot bed I have well. It seems to be a good product and I do not have any complaints.
Kimberley: I would definitely recommend this product to other mums/friends. It keeps the mattress clean and hygienic and also allows easy changing of the bedding without having wet patches when accidents happen. The material seems comfy and does not impact on the bedding once on. It also washes and dries well.
How did this product make your life easier?
Sonia: The Cleva Bed Waterproof Mattress Protector is very effective as a mattress protector in the way that it prevents any fluid from gaining access to the mattress very well. The Mattress Protector is very quick, easy and hassle-free to fit. The fabric is soft enough for baby to sleep directly on the Mattress Protector with no need for an additional sheet.
Tella: This has definitely made my life easier because my little one does struggle during the night. The waterproof mattress protector is easy to take off, to put in the wash, dry and then put back on his bed. I would give this 10/10. I love it and it makes my life easier as I don’t have to keep getting a new mattress or keep trying to clean them.
Pamela: This is a great, well-fitted product. Rather than simple ties or loops on the corner it has elastic all the way around and was very easy to fit and put on/off. We had an episode where most of a beaker of water spilt over the bed which meant we could change the mattress protector and sheet and know wasn’t going to be wet.
Would you choose this product to win?
Shakira: Yes I 100% would choose this product again and again. It's an amazing price and does exactly what it's meant to do. My son hasn't had an accident but I have done a water test and I was amazed by how the water just sits on top. It's not just about the waterproof for wet the beds for me that stands out, my son gets quite sweaty especially in this heat so to have something that can protect his mattress is invaluable.
Sally: I would choose this product over others because it is completely waterproof but totally silent without the crunching at every move which you may get from others. Being able to wash it at high temperatures and tumble dry it without shrinkage or burning is perfect. The fit is great on my cot bed and the skirt works perfectly it does not ping off whilst trying to fit it!
Louise: I would choose this product over all others on the market. I have used a lot of mattress protectors in the past that have let leaks through, have been made of a scratchy material or have not matched the quality of the ClevaBed Waterproof Mattress Protector. The ClevaBed Protector is made of a lovely soft material, which I would be happy to let a newborn sleep on and it didn't let any leaks through even when I tested the product under a running tap. I was really impressed!
What changes would you make to this product?
Philippa: The material on this product does come off when you originally put this product on the bed which then rubs onto the bed sheet. The material of the sheet also is not soft enough to use without an additional cot sheet which could put some people off. I would like to see a better quality of material even if that meant a more expensive price.
Kate-Louise: The only thing I would change about this product is putting the waterproof material on the sides of the product as well as the top. Because I feel in the case of a vomiting incident the sides of the mattress aren’t fully protected and that worries me a little. While using this product we didn’t have any leaks during the night so I’m unable to say whether the waterproof element works.
Nikki: It is difficult to choose something I would change about this product, as it is a basic and straightforward design which suits its purpose. I would want the colour to remain white and the material to stay as it is. The fit seems to be good so I wouldn't change anything.
