Suitable from birth to four years, this is car seat/carrycot compatible. Lockable swivel front wheels mean it can go off-road. It’s really easy to fold, although not free-standing or particularly compact when collapsed down. The manoeuvrability is excellent, even when it’s pushed with only one hand.

This is the three-wheeled version of Britax’s popular lightweight, easy-to-fold pushchair, the B-Agile. There’s the option of adding the Baby-Safe sleeper (£199.99) to form a travel system, which can also be used as a lie-flat carseat and also a carrycot for overnight sleeping. The pushchair seat is big enough for a toddler and it reclines flat enough to be used for a newborn, too.
We love the B-Agile for all the nice little touches like the Velcro strap on the handle to carry small bags and has an easy one handed fold. The puncture-resistant wheels can be removed easily if you need to squeeze the pushchair into a small space, the five-point harness has adjustable shoulder straps and you can lock the front swivel wheel. You’ll find lots of storage too, including a roomy shopping basket and also a handy pouch for stashing spare clothes etc. Overall, a great city three-wheeler that, while not a true off-roader, can still cope with a few bumps.
Tested by Zoe Lester, 24, mum to Isla, six months. She says:
The shopping basket is too small and very shallow. Having said that, this is lovely to push and Isla seemed incredibly comfortable, even on walks over very rough ground. I love the spacious seat unit and deep recline – so comfy – and the hood extends to almost cover the seat unit. A great all-rounder. I just wish the handlebar was height adjustable.

I’d never normally choose such a bright pushchair, but the colour grew on me. The frame is sturdy yet lightweight and so easy to fold and unfold one-handed. I was impressed by the balance and manoeuvrability. My only complaint is the handle height – at 5’10’’ I found it too low to be comfortable. It’s a great price and I’d recommend to friends.
Tested by Amanda Hemmings, 43, mum to Calleigh, 18 months. She says:
Really sturdy and easy to steer one-handed. But the seat angle makes Calleigh sit a little slumped. Once reclined, she looked really uncomfortable, although she actually slept well. The seat recline feature is tricky to operate too – the cover flap kept getting in the way, so I had to crouch down to sort it out. I found the handlebar height quite uncomfortable.
