Joie Aire Pushchair

Lots included for the price but while the included car seat was popular with our testers the Aire pushchair itself was considered not very sturdy. But it’s also lightweight and easy to use, folding quickly.

There’s a lot included here for the price – car seat, foot muff, raincover and adjustable handles. However, the Aire is let down by its lack of sturdiness and testers were concerned about whether it would last through the toddler years. We liked the large basket, the adjustable handle and the bumper bar but the hood is just not big enough. It was also very stiff to fold and it didn’t feel as stable as some of the others. The car seat was great, being well padded and easily adjustable.

The pushchair reclined easily, though, and once you have the knack you can open and close it with one hand. It’s lightweight, too, but it’s a shame it wasn’t compact when folded. The Aire has a good amount of storage, but it’s difficult to get to the shopping basket when the seat is fully reclined. It also stands upright when folded which is handy for storage.
