Why would you recommend this product to a friend/fellow mum?
The first thing that strikes you about this pushchair is style. It looks so smart and is a real joy to push around, with the tan leather on the handle bar and baby bar against the navy and white stripes. It folds so easily with a unique folding mechanism at the front of the pushchair really easy to reach. The brake on the handlebar is also a rather unusual and convenient design.
How does this product make your life easier as a mum?
It is so much easier to have the brake on the handle bar, it saves looking around for the foot brake. Most important for me was the folding mechanism, being so easy and smooth to use it meant other family members weren't struggling to collapse or erect it. The changing bag straps that connect to the handle bar was also a lovely feature and meant everything was within easy reach.
If you could change one thing about this product what would it be?
I feel the hood is a bit flimsy compared the quality of the rest of the pushchair, it doesn't fully connect all the way around leaving some gaps which is a strangely small oversight considering how well thought out the rest of the pushchair is designed.

Why would you recommend this product to a friend/fellow mum?
This is a very stylish and sturdy 3-wheeler pushchair. I really like both the shape and leather covering on the handle, which adjusts to come up nice and high suiting both my tall husband and myself. On the downside, I’m not sure how practical the leather on the handle would be over time in all weathers. Although I initially thought that the four-point belt was a bit of a faff, it does give a nice secure fit. There is a generous amount of storage in a hard-wearing basket which would keep things dry on a rainy day. The pushchair folds and unfolds nicely and is compact once folded.
How does this product make your life easier as a mum?
This Mountain Buggy not only looks good, but is also good quality and practical to use over all. I think its style makes it stand out.
If you could change one thing about this product what would it be?
This pushchair could be improved by having a larger sunshade and by making it possible to fix into position the front bar coming across the child’s lap so that they don’t adjust it up and down all the time. My daughter liked putting her feet over it and then under it and playing around with it, but I think it would be more beneficial in a fixed position, there is always the option to just take this bar off. Although it looks very nice and is overall very good, I think this Mountain Buggy is a bit expensive considering what other pushchairs are on the market of a similar quality.

Why would you recommend this product to a friend/fellow mum?
I would recommend this for people who regularly do country walks. It was stable and easy to use over rough ground. The adjustable handle had very good range meaning it was comfortable for both me (5ft 2) and my husband (6ft 8) to use.
How does this product make your life easier as a mum?
It was easy to manoeuvre and the break location and definitive 'on/off' for the breaking was particularly useful.
If you could change one thing about this product what would it be?
The material it was made from. I suspect the canvas will fade in the sun and the hood wasn't well attached. The stripes looked good but I suspect that the white stripes will look extremely grubby very quickly.

Why would you recommend this product to a friend/fellow parent?
I would recommend this pushchair because of the way it looks and the way it folds. It’s very well built and feels like a quality product, even down to the packaging and the accessories. The design is stylish and the pushchair is very nice to push around, both on flat or uneven ground. It’s single front wheel makes the pushchair very nimble, though it isn’t particularly small. The folding mechanism, though in an unusual place (right in the middle of the chassis) is very simple and the pushchair folds neatly and locks itself. Unfolding is just as easy and can be done with one hand. It is not small but because it folds neatly, it is reasonably easy to transport.
How does this product make your life easier as a dad?
The best aspect of this pushchair is the folding mechanism, which does make transporting what is actually quite a large pushchair relatively simple. The fact it can be done one-handed sets it aside from other pushchairs in this size-range. There is also a nice brake switch on the handle that gives a reassuring click when engaged and means you do not have to reach down or unclick the brake with your foot.
If you could change one thing about this product what would it be?
The biggest problem with this pushchair is that it is marketed as a travel system. While it does come with a carrycot, it has to be put together yourself out of the box, and in order to then put the carrycot on the chassis the whole of the fabric seat needs to be un-popped and un-strapped. At that point the adaptors can be snapped onto the chassis and the carrycot clicked in. This is fine for a newborn that will not be using the seat for some time, or even a large toddler that won’t need the carrycot, but for a child that is in between those ages that would need both at some stage in the day this is an awfully complex procedure. Essentially this is a good pushchair which can have a carrycot fitted if you’re not looking to switch them back and forth regularly.

Why would you recommend this product to a friend/fellow mum?
This pushchair looks incredibly stylish and smart with the tan leather and navy/white stripes. From appearances it has the real wow factor. Unfortunately for me this was the main positive, because in practicality it let me down in many aspects. I found it very bulky and heavy to move around, it felt very large so not ideal for going around shops. I found the pull tie mechanism for adjusting the seat position was really stiff and hard to use, it would have been better if it was one tie because by having two it was difficult to get the seat even. The hood was held on with poppers and no matter how much I fiddled with it, they let in gaps of sunlight and just seemed very unstable.
How does this product make your life easier as a mum?
Off road this pushchair had great suspension and was very easy to manoeuvre. The pneumatic tyres felt reassuring and sturdy on gravel paths. My baby slept well in this pushchair and the lie back position and size of the seat seemed to offer lots of comfort.
If you could change one thing about this product what would it be?
I feel the pushchair is overpriced for what it offers, the hood could be improved with a different more stable way of attaching it. The mechanism for changing seat position really needs changing at least into one tie. The harness for strapping baby in was really complicated with 5 straps to put into position.

Why would you recommend this product to a friend/fellow mum?
I really enjoyed using this pushchair, it's comfortable to use as a parent, great for town/village/country life. You might struggle to get through a city with it just because it is a big pushchair - long and quite cumbersome. Heavy to lift in and out of a car. However, after a few weeks of being tested, the hood is looking frayed, and a hole has appeared in the chair material - if I had paid such a lot of money for this I'd be very miffed.

It has a good sized basket, and a handy drinks holder.
If you could change one thing about this product what would it be?
Who designs a buggy for use outside and for children with white as a main colour? Looks grubby very quickly!
