Otti Prams Free Ranger Three-Wheeled Pushchair

With a front wheel that rotates 360 degrees, and rear-wheel shock absorbers, this is built for taking off the beaten track.

The handlebar is height-adjustable and the seat reclines to multiple positions. The quirky print is a sure-fire conversation-starter, and the shopping basket is really spacious.

Tested by Sarah McIntyre, 35, mum to Leo, six months. She says:

I love this pushchair! It’s pretty, easy to manoeuvre and handles any terrain, even when you’re pushing it with just one hand. My tall three-and-a-half-year-old also fits in this seat, which is a first – so it will last my youngest, Leo, ages. The basket is a decent size.

Folding it is a bit of a chore, though, and it doesn’t go flat. The flimsy footmuff also lets it down.

Tested by Sarahjane Welch, 34, mum to Penny, 12 months. She says:

I love the print, which scored lots of compliments at the school gates. However, for such a beautiful pram, the seat recline and folding mechanism seem a little clumsy. Plus, the wheels had to be removed to fit this in our boot.

It arrived with only partially inflated tyres, so we had to pump them up at a garage, which was a bit inconvenient. Other than that, great!

Tested by Alexia Pellowe, 33, mum to Harry, 18 months. She says:

This feels light and easy to manoeuvre, even with one hand, and the fabric print is lovely. There’s basket space for two bags of shopping, and it comes with a footmuff, although it’s quite thin. It’s tricky to fold, and to lift in and out of the boot.

Also, at more than twice the price of the Koochi Pushmatic, which strikes me as similar quality, it seems expensive.
