From Cotswold cobbles and London potholes, to Yorkshire dales and sandy trails, Out’n’About is there for the everyday and weekend adventure.
At this year's Mother&Baby awards it was clear our tester parents agreed that Out'n'About is at the top of their game when it comes to the best pushchairs, with not one, not two, but three medal wins! The Nipper Single struck Gold for Best Pushchair, and there was a clean sweep in the Best Multiple, Twin or Tandem Pushchair category with Out'n'About claiming both the Gold and Silver spot with their Nipper Double and GT Double.
Out'n'About Nipper Single
Gold, Best Pushchair
The Nipper Single is ideal for everyday use, with its range of travel system options and bespoke carrycot it offers a comfortable ride from newborn to toddler. The air-filled tyres allow both the parent and child to effortlessly manoeuvre across both the city and scenic off-road routes.
Our tester mum said: "The nipper single was easy to use and store – a highlight for me was how easy it is to put up and take back down. My baby is always comfortable when he is in the buggy and he very much enjoys being out and about in it! The reclining positions work great as there are different options; my baby loves being nosey, so the upright position was definitely his favourite, however, the low reclining position is amazing when your baby has a nap. It’s lightweight to lift in and out of the car, and it is easy to change from folded to upright and vice versa. It just seems to pop up into position. We tend to use this buggy for off-road walks. We live close to lots of woodland walks, and this buggy has been a godsend as it has allowed us to take our baby out on the bumpy paths and grassy areas. Although it's so lightweight it still feels very sturdy to steer, even over uneven ground, there's good suspension and the wheels drive smoothly making it a comfortable experience for both myself and my baby."
Out'n'About Nipper Double
Gold, Best multiple, twin or tandem pushchair
The Nipper Double is an excellent solution for parents who require a multipurpose pushchair for two. With an extensive range of features it is the ideal choice for use with twins or children of different weights and ages. A smooth ride is assured for both parent and children thanks to the independent rear wheel suspension, 12" pneumatic wheels and swivel front wheel. At a slimline width of 72cm the Nipper Double will glide through all standard doorways. Weighing just 12.8kg the Nipper Double makes for easy handling, it is the ideal solution for family life.
One of our awards testers said: "This pushchair is lovely and lightweight, making it easy to manoeuvre on different surfaces with my baby and 3-year-old in it. It was very easy to assemble, only taking 5 minutes and comes with clear instructions. The Nipper Double has been very intelligently built. It is very spacious but doesn’t look cumbersome. It easily fits through the doorways I’ve used so far, plus my 3-year-old daughter comfortably fits in this pushchair with room to spare."
Out'n'About GT Double
Silver, Best multiple, twin or tandem pushchair
The Out ‘n’ About GT Double brings a new dynamic to side by side strolling. This lightweight, compact double pushchair weighs only 12.5kg and will glide through a standard doorway at only 71cm wide! With independent reclining spacious seats the GT Double will accommodate 2 children of different ages and sizes and is suitable from newborn up to 4 years old. With travel system options such as attaching 1 car seat or either 1 or 2 carrycots, the GT Double is the ultimate choice when looking for a side by side pushchair for your little ones.
This tester mum said: "This is a great buggy, it’s very light and easy to push, the large wheels had no problems over bumpy paths or going up curbs. My girls are 6 months and 2 and a half and both were very comfortable in it, my baby fell asleep on the first walk out with it although her legs weren’t long enough for her feet to reach the footrest but it didn’t seem to bother her. I was pleasantly surprised at how easy it is to fold and I also like how the handle is quite narrow and has lots of height options. It’s narrow enough to get through most doorways and I liked the added touch of the safety strap which my 5 year old likes to hold onto when we are walking."
