This product looks good and comes with a perfectly handy storage case, and it's so easy to use anyone could do it! It's light and easy to pop into your handbag and very hygienic as there is no direct contact, which I'm hoping will help prevent the spread of germs.
How did this product make your life easier?
This product is a brilliant invention! No more wrestling with my toddler, who is sensitive about his ears, to get his temperature. Also, perfect for my baby who is constantly active, crawling around everywhere. I can quickly take their temperatures and get on top of any potential illness. Just wish I knew about this amazing invention before!

As a mother of two under two, one with a serious illness, I'm in need of a thermometer that is accurate and easy to use. This product identifies a temperature quickly and accurately, fulfilling its purpose perfectly. It is worth the money and should win!

I would recommend this product to a fellow mum because it makes life so much simpler. It is easy to take out on the go and is also very hygienic, being non-contact. The thermometer is also easy to clean and I like the design.

This product makes my life easier because it is so easy to use. It really is a game changer compared to regular thermometers. It is easier, faster and more efficient to use compared to any other thermometer because I don't have to disturb my baby in order to check their temperature!

Yes. It is an all-round effective product, not at all complicated and is reliable. It also comes with a slim case for storage, which was handy.
What changes would you make to this product?
It would be great if you were able to take temperature slightly further away from baby and it still be accurate. But otherwise, this is a fab product.

Would you recommend this to other mums?
I would recommend this product because of the ease of use, the fact that it isn’t bulky to store and even comes with a handy case. It would fit in any changing bag, so you can take it anywhere. I just love this product.
How did this product make your life easier?
My little boy hates having his temperature taken, especially when he's feeling poorly so this product makes it so much easier. No stress, and you get the results straight away instead of having to wait with a crying baby! It is absolutely the quickest way to take his temperature.
Would you choose this product to win?
I currently have a Mothercare thermometer, which you have to hold under the armpit or on the tongue for a while before getting a reading, so I would choose this product over that one any day! I've never seen anything like this product before so it really makes it stand out for me, considering most contact thermometers are just as expensive. This thermometer is in a league of its own.
What changes would you make to this product?
I honestly can't think of anything I'd really change about this product.

I would recommend this to a friend because of its multiple uses, meaning you don't need other devices to check water, room and food temperatures. Therefore, the thermometer is very good value for money considering all that it covers. It is also easy to use with very clear instructions.

I have found that this product has made it a lot easier to read my little boy’s temperature without having to disturb him. I can take his temperature without waking him! This has also helped me with ensuring his bath water, room and food are the right temperature.
Would you choose this product to win?
I would definitely consider this product above some others, but unfortunately, I already have an ear thermometer that I prefer. However, being able to take so many different measurements with this one is a big plus.
What changes would you make to this product?
I would change the fact that the light doesn’t come on automatically so sometimes you have to peer very close to it to read the temperature.

Would you recommend this to other mums?
I would recommend to fellow mum friends due to the versatile nature of the thermometer. I am able to check the temperature of food before serving, the bath water before putting the baby in the tub and also the milk temperature if I want to. I wouldn't solely rely on it, but it’s reliable and I love that the buttons are user friendly. I never used the light function but can see that this would be handy in the dark.
How did this product make your life easier?
This product is simple to use and makes taking temperatures an easier process. It is multi-purpose and for this reason, I found it a useful product to have. We went on holiday and only needed to take this one product, we could then store it in the handy box that comes included. It is very ergonomic and user friendly with a simple guide.
Would you choose this product to win?
I do like the simplicity of the product and the fact that it performs a range of functions. That said, I'd buy a different one on the market, due to the fact that it says in the instructions that if you are unsure of a reading given, to double check which a body thermometer. This suggests that you'd need two products in the house anyway.
What changes would you make to this product?
I do like the product, but I would not trust solely these results. If accuracy was ensured, it would be perfect.

I really like this thermometer! I like the way it looks, sleek and modern although it is quite big and wouldn't fit in a small bag as conveniently as some of the other thermometers on the market. I like the fact it measures food, the bath and room temperature as a lot of other thermometers only do one thing and It's extremely hygienic as you don't need to touch anything with it.
How did this product make your life easier?
It's super quick! My little boy doesn't like the ear thermometer that we have as it makes a loud beeping noise, he also doesn't like the normal thermometers as they take over a minute to get a reading and he starts fussing and crying before I can get a good reading, this one gave me a reading in 2 seconds! It doesn't make any loud noises and I didn't even have to touch him making life so much easier!
Would you choose this product to win?
Yes I would definitely choose this product! It's good value for money for the amount of things this thermometer does, it's extremely quick at reading and is very accurate as I tested it against my other 2 thermometers and you can even set the date and time on it. It's also great for if you need to use it in the middle of the light and don't want to switch all the lights on as the screen lights up in blue.
What changes would you make to this product?
Although I absolutely love this product I would maybe make it slightly smaller. It's very long, about the size of a remote control so you wouldn't be able to carry it with you as discretely as some of the other little thermometers on the market but apart from that I can't really fault this thermometer at all.

It is easy to use and non-invasive. Especially good when you have a young baby who may be unwell and had just fallen asleep. One of my children doesn't like his ears being touched so this design is perfect for us. I thought that it might have taken longer to get a temperature reading, but it was literally a coule of seconds. Fab product and would definitely recommend.
How did this product make your life easier?
Simple and quick to use. Two words that makes every mums life easier. Simple - because I didn't even have to look at the instructions, opened it (inside the case it tells you the recommended distance you should hold the thermometer away from the head), switched it on and pressed the scan button.... And there was the temperature reading, all without disturbing baby. Quick - because it took seconds for the unit to be switched on and for the reading to appear.
Would you choose this product to win?
Simple design, easy to use and convenient. When your child is or may be ill, you need something that will quickly and easily detect a temperature so you can act upon it as quickly as possible. This product does exactly that. if a child has a temperature there skin may be over sensitive and this no contact design is perfect for these situations to reduce the child's discomfort. I like how it also comes with a protective case so it can easily be popped into a handbag or changing bag too.
What changes would you make to this product?
This product is brilliant, but if I had to say something, it would be to add an audible sound to say the temperature has been recorded. Although most the time I could clearly see the screen, a couple of times I checked the baby's temperature and the unit was at an angle so I couldn't see the screen, so a beep or any audible sound would make it a bit easier to use.

Every new mum needs a thermometer! Very important that you take your baby/child's temperature if you think they might be unwell. It was a lovely product to hold and light weight. It came with a carry case to keep it in also. It was also very easy to use and the results were very quick with the temperature displayed and a face to show if the temperature was high or low.
How did this product make your life easier?
I feel happy that I know I have a reliable peice of product in my home and if I think my baby isn't well I can quickly do her temperature. You do not have to touch your baby to be able to test their temperature. You just hold it near their forehead and move it across, so no need to disturb baby which is very handy.
Would you choose this product to win?
This is a great product. There is also a feature so you can test the room temperature. You can also test the temperature of objects, i.e. baby's bath water. I think the fact that you don't have to disturb baby is the best thing about it. And it reads the temperature in as little as 2 seconds. It also stores the last 60 readings so you can see if there temperature has gone up or down.
What changes would you make to this product?
If I could change one thing about this product I would make it a bit smaller. It's about the size of a tv remote controller. Although you wouldn't lose it in the drawer. But overall I think it's a good product and would recommend it.

Would you recommend this to other mums?
I'd recommend this product to a friend simply because it's so easy to use. Having a newborn it's been really hard to use a normal thermometer as he moves or cries but this one I can use without waking my baby or making him uncomfortable. The happy and sad face function are very usful as it doesn't have you questioning what's too warm and too cold. As soon as I see a sad face I instantly know my baby is too warm. I'd tell all my mummy friends about this product.

Having a July baby has been tough because I constantly worried about his temperature. The non-contact thermometer is truly amazing I found myself waking my baby to check his temperature when using a standard thermometer. I always found myself Googling what's a safe temperature and then worrying. The non-contact thermometer is truly amazing as I can use it with out waking my baby and as all mums know it's vital for babies to get their sleep.
Would you choose this product to win?
I have used standard thermometers since having my son and I started to get fed up with how long I would have to hold them in his mouth or under his tongue or even under his armpit. He would always wake up or get frustrated and then upset. I would choose the non-contact thermometer over other ones on the market simply because it's easier to use, it's fast and it allows me to keep my baby happy. The fact I can use it when my baby sleeps and I don't need to touch or wake him. It's silent and comfortable to hold I will continue to use this with any children I have in the future.
What changes would you make to this product?
The non-contact thermometer is very simple in style and very lightweight. I love the colour as it's discreet and it comes in its own box to keep it safe and protect it. I honestly can't find fault in this product as it's been amazing to use. It's helped me and made me less stressed about my baby over heating. If I had to pick one thing to change about this product I'd maybe not have batteries and have a charger point instead, as the batteries ran out before I really needed to use it and I didn't have time to get to the store.

The Boots Non-Contact Thermometer offers peace of mind to parents because it offers a quick and reliable reading. It will make any parent's life easier when thier child has a suspected high temperature because you can very quickly get a reading, the smiley and sad face are a great feature because they instantly let you know if the temperature is within the safe limits. The light feature for the screen is perfect for middle of the night wake up calls so you don't disrupt your little one too much.

I think the Boots Non-Contact Thermometer should be a staple in all parents' cupboards because it will instantly offer peace of mind and help parents to make an informed decision on their children's health.
What changes would you make to this product?
If I could change anything about the Boots Non-Contact Thermometer it would be to make the screen a bit bigger, if you have less than the perfect eye sight you might find it a little hard to read. The thermometer itself is big enough that this could be possible to change, it would also mean that in the night when you are a little disorientated if the reading came up on a bigger screen you would read it much easier.
