The gate feels very solid and well made. Munchkin is a well known brand and this gate lives up to the standard I would expect from such a big name brand. It does not need to be drilled into place which would make it a great option for renters or people who do not want to start making holes in their walls. Unfortunately installation was quite tricky. You need two hands to open and close it and the bar across the bottom is painful if you step on it.

The Maxi-Secure Pressure Fit Safety Gate was extremely easy to fit and is also very easy to open and close when in use. There is an extra lockable feature at the bottom of the gate which gives extra peace of mind knowing it is extra locked and safe when not in use. I will happily reccommend this safety gate to anyone with children or even pets.

I have used supermarket own brand stair gates and although this one is slightly more expensive than those, it is 100% worth the money. It is secure, sturdy and easy to fit. It gives you peace of mind that your child is safe. The tools were provided to fit the gate, which makes life a lot easier and quicker too! The gate isn’t flimsy and feels robust so you can rest assured that determined toddlers can’t shake the gate open or loose! It can be extended in size too, so could fit various size doorways or stairways.

We used the Maxi-Secure Pressure Fit Safety Gate at the top of our stairs to prevent our daughter from accessing the stairs without our supervision. This has been a great addition to our house as we have peace of mind that she is safe when playing upstairs. The assembly and installation was pretty straightforward which was very handy as I'm sure most parents have a hectic household!

My child is 14months old and already walking so I needed a baby gate to stop him access parts of the house and stairs. I wanted a gate easy to use but also strong enough so he wouldn't pull it over or open it. This gate does both, my little boy has tried pressing the handle a few times but the mechanism is perfect for him not to open.

Instead even if they do make it out at least they can’t try and climb the stairs and risk getting hurt

This is a solid design and proves to deter my daughter from trying to open it. We as a family particularly like the extra safety feature at the bottom of the gate, with the double latches that secures the gate in place. This is great for when our daughter tries to pull on the gate, this feature gives further peace of mind.
