Why would you recommend this product to a friend/fellow mum?

This children's mattress is great! I hadn't heard of it before but I'm so pleased with it. It came in a good box and we put it straight into the cot bed and then put our sheets on - sizing is perfect, and it’s nice and firm. The best thing about it is that the top layer zips off really easily and it comes with a spare topper so that when you are washing one you can put the other one on. I think it’s also really good value.

How does this product make your life easier as a mum?

The fact that the topper zips off is so good. This makes washing it so much easier and gives me peace of mind that the mattress will last longer and be more hygienic than one that doesn't. By providing a second cover, this means that if there is an accident in the night time then we can quickly do a bed change - I don't know what we'd do now if we didn't have it!

If you could change one thing about this product what would it be?

Nothing - I really like this product. I genuinely can't think of anything that would help make it better, even the price is reasonable compared to other mattresses which don't offer as much.

Tested by mum Catherine Jones for the M&B Awards 2016:

Why would you recommend this product to a friend/fellow mum?

This mattress is really quite faultless. We have tested it on a baby and toddler and its perfect for both. The top part is the best feature - zip it off if it gets soiled and it can be replaced with a spare. The waterproof part is inside too as opposed to part of the cover so really protects the mattress from stainings.

How does this product make your life easier as a mum?

Reusing the mattress following an accident is really simple. Often with my mattress the cover has to be fully removed, then I have to wait before it can be reused or put a new sheet on without the cover meaning once the cover is dry you have to make the bed again.
