Would you recommend this to other mums?

I would absolutely recommend this product to every parent I know! It is really useful from newborn age to much older. For newborns the white noise is perfect (and really works). The stars give them something to look at and for their eyes to follow - my little boy loves looking at it. For older children the stars look fabulous in their bedrooms and help them drift off to sleep watching them. There is also music for older ones with different time settings. And it looks good too! Brilliant product, very versatile.

How did this product make your life easier?

It makes my life easier because it is stylish so looks like a great feature in the nursery or child's bedroom so you don't have to worry about hiding it away. It helped my newborn settle off to sleep really well and the stars entertained him for ages too which made my life easier as I could get stuff done while he was entertained or sleeping. It also was great for my 5 year old because she has nightmares and likes to have something soothing in her bedroom so she loved the stars and soothing lullabies and helped me to get her to sleep easier.

Would you choose this product to win?

It has a brilliant price point so is affordable. It looks really modern and stylish and not out of place in a nursery or bedroom. It plays noises as well as various music tunes and you can vary the time settings depending upon what you need. The stars look fabulous too and really set off my daughter's bedroom at night. It is a product for multiple ages and would take you from newborn to a young child which is excellent value for money. It also does exactly what it says and works to perfection too.

What changes would you make to this product?

It might be useful to have a clock and or a temperature indicator on the unit. This would make it even more multi-functional and would mean one less thing to plug into the nursery. If you are staying in the room with your little one for a little time it is useful to be able to see what time it is. I also like to know at a glance what the temperature of the room is, but I could use the baby monitor, but not if I was actually in the room so it might be an extra feature to add to make this a must buy item.

Would you recommend this to other mums?

I would recommend this product to other mothers as it is not only a night light, it has so many other functions. It plays 4 different tunes and has 4 other 'natural' noises including heartbeats. It is great for creating white noise to settle babies to sleep. It also projects stars on to the ceiling which my son loves. Nap time and sleep time used to be such a struggle but this night light has helped settle him into a routine and it is a routine that he really enjoys.

How did this product make your life easier?

This product has made my life so much easier by helping to settle my son into a bedtime routine. He used to resist sleep so much that he would often refuse to put his pyjamas on. Now he looks forward to bedtime as he loves looking at the stars on the ceiling. The light also has a soft soothing glow. You can have 4 different timers so that it switches off automatically so I don't have to wait for him to sleep before going in to turn it off.

What changes would you make to this product?

The only thing I think this product could be improved on is its sound quality. The quality of the music in particular is not great and can sound a bit cheap. However, my son does not mind this and I am sure other children would not notice either. Otherwise this is a great product that has helped settle my son for bed time.

Would you recommend this to other mums?

This is a great looking product that is also really good value for money. It has lots of different options, making this a nightlight, a light show, a white noise soother, and a lullaby player all in one. It has lots of options so you can personalise what it plays, and how long for. It runs on an adaptor and is small enough to sit on a book shelf.

How did this product make your life easier?

I like that it runs on an adapter, rather than guzzling up battery power like a lot of the nightlights I've seen. I was also really impressed with the range of options the product has. You can have light and sound, just sound or just light, or even a starry sky projector, and there are lots of volume and dimmer settings too which is really helpful.

What changes would you make to this product?

I would give it a battery option so you could use it more easily when travelling / camping / etc. I would also let the volume gauge go a little quieter, as even on its lowest setting can still sound pretty loud if the rest of the house is silent. Other than that I wouldn't change anything, it's a great product!

Would you recommend this to other mums?

I would recommend this product to a friend/fellow mum as it is a good comfort to the baby soothes them too, easy to use, very good design, easy to transport around can take it to family/friends house if going away for some time, easy to clean with a wet wipe and long as you dont use the wipe other the speaker should be all good.

How did this product make your life easier?

This product makes things easier as you can use it a night time to soothe the child and distract them with the night light on the ceiling as its got stars and a moon, the music also is good to soothe the baby as you can adjust the volume and also change between the different types of songs and make the light brighter or darker.

What changes would you make to this product?

If I could change one thing about this product it would be the fact of the night light only being the one colour, I would make it only white or multi coloured changing every now and then.

Tested by mum Danielle Parker for the M&B Awards 2017:

Would you recommend this to other mums?

I would definitely recommend this product to a friend or fellow mum, it is a great product that makes bedtime so much easier. The lights and options on the nightlight make it perfect to adapt to how your child likes it best. The sound options are great, with a range of tunes and volumes, it really is great for being able to customise to your child’s needs.

How did this product make your life easier?

This product makes my life easier as a mum, as it makes bedtimes so much easier. It is soothing and my daughter adores the cute design, she loves the lights and the range of sounds is great as there is always something new and soothing. I love this product lots and wish we had one since my daughter was born.

What changes would you make to this product?

If I could change just one thing, it would be to have the light show projector to project even further across the ceiling, I found the area to be too small for our large room as the wire means that we need to keep the nightlight quite far away from the cot. It is an amazing item though. A rechargeable base would also be a great addition.
