At a glance:

Wrap your little one up warm with the Konfidence Babywarma. This baby wetsuit is great for baby swimming lessons or everyday dips in the sea, providing extra warmth and comfort for babies.

Would you recommend this to other mums?

Louise: I would recommend this product as my baby seemed really snug and happy. The product fit like a glove and the design featured a cute, fun pattern. The product is really light, is easy to transport and dries very quickly. The product folds up really small and easily fits in my swim bag. I like the fact the product can be washed if any accidents were to happen, however, the BabyWarma instructions do recommend just a rinse in cold water to prolong the product's life.

Jennifer: The quality of the materials and construction of this product is very high. There are plenty of designs and colours to choose from and it is true to size. It doesn't fold brilliantly so does take up quite a bit of space in the swimming bag, but then others do too. It washes and dries well and is easy to put on your baby.

Philippa: This is perfect if you are a mummy that wants to take your little one swimming without being nervous about them getting chilly in the water. We all know how quickly babies get cold. This give gives them that little bit longer in the water making them more comfortable and thus feeling more confident in the water.

How did this product make your life easier?

Amy: I thought this would be a great product as I have both a three-year-old and one-year-old. When we go swimming my youngest gets cold a lot faster than his big sister. I hoped the Babywarma would let us stay in the pool longer but unfortunately, my son found it quite restricting and was unhappy wearing it. The first time we tried it on in the house he tried to bend over and the Babywarma stopped him which ended up in him falling over and a he got a bruise on his head.

Rebecca: This product is super easy to use with the Velcro. It is easy to pop it under baby and it isn’t fiddly to do. It’s quick, simple and has an adjustable fit so it kept her nice and warm. We were into the pool in no time at all. I found it a really useful and practical vest for swimming. It was flexible allowing lots of movement for my baby.

Lynsey: This product makes my life easier because it is quick to put on. This is especially important when getting little ones dressed. It makes my child feel warm and comfortable in the pool. It is also soft around the edges which means it doesn't rub on my baby's skin when swimming and kicking. This meant my baby was happy to wear it without complaint.

Would you choose this product to win?

Jillian: I like this product and I didn't think I would. I've never tried anything similar as I really didn't see the point. However, my son finds it easy to move in and is very happy in it. I'm happy that it gives me extra grip in the pool and keeps him warmer so we can swim for longer. I really like the four four-pointing on it and it saves me trying to wriggle something wet over his head.

Jemma: I think this product is good as it keeps my babies temperature warmer in a colder pool environment. It is easy to put on and off with the Velcro. It also dries incredibly quickly. However, the piece of material that goes between the legs is extremely wide and does not appear very comfortable as it irritates my child. It does not act as a buoyancy aid and there are other products (made by Konfidence) that do both which for me would be better suited to smaller children.

Zoe: The brand is well known within the baby swimming products sector. The value for money is good. It is affordable and the quality reflects the price. Being in the pool with chlorine as well as the numerous washes, the product does hold up the quality through all of the lessons. There is a great choice of colours, designs and sizes.

What changes would you make to this product?

Louise: I love the fact this product has Velcro fastenings. It makes it so much easier and quicker to get your baby in and out of. There's nothing worse than getting a wet costume off a baby but the BabyWarma can be removed in seconds. However, my baby is at that age where she is trying to undo the velcro on the side of the product. This is only before going in the water. Once in the water, she is occupied with other things. The UPV 50 protection is amazing meaning it is great to also take on holiday.

Jennifer: I think it would be good if it could fold down a bit smaller and possibly have short sleeves. It might good if it was reversible. I appreciate this may not be practical or possible given the Velcro on it. They could consider using a zip to fasten up some of the areas.

Philippa: I would add matching products such as a sun hat or some sort of protection. They could add sleeves or make the legs longer in order to offer more warmth.
