The Barbie Dreamhouse is a big, three-storey dollhouse complete with 10 play areas, a pool, a slide and a lift. It really is the stuff of dreams. Plus right now it is on offer with 51% off the price. One reviewer said, "t really is awesome. It was the typical, daughter wanted THIS specifically, didn't want a cheaper alternative, and I was very wary about spending so much. However, so glad I did as it's been the biggest hit this Christmas! Everything is so open, which i thought was a bit weird but it does make it so much easier to play with the barbies through the gaps." However, do be aware that some reviewers didn't think the slide was very sturdy, commenting, "he slide isn't very sturdy and will come apart if you put much pressure onto it (which annoys my daughter, but my son loves pulling it apart to make a jump for his hot wheels cars!)"
We love that it is easy to assemble with one reviewer saying, "I also found it quite easy to put together by myself, very clear instructions," although it is time consuming simply because there are so many parts. While this is really big (so make sure you have space!) it is a strong dollhouse, filled with accessories, and perfect for any Barbie fans.

It also includes 13 accessories to really spark the imagination. The accessories include a bed, sofa, table, light, and TV along with others. We like the detail that's printed on the house to indicate what each room is meant to be, although this does mean you can't change the layout. It also has cute little cut outs for the windows so the dolls can peek out at the outside world. We love that once they have built it they can play with it because it comes with four popular Gabby's dollhouse characters, including Gabby herself.
Some reviewers were a bit disappointed that the LEGO doesn't stay together and in particular found the lift was problematic, with one reviewer saying, "the elevator is a particular weak point with no flat bar pieces across the top to keep the columns together." One review said, "got this for my youngest birthday, she absolutely loves it. Was fairly easy to assemble if I'm honest." However, another reviewer found it be unstable and "shaky" once built and other mentioned that they would like the accessories to be wooden instead of plastic.

The variety of furnishings together with the colourful bed linen afford infinite opportunities for creative play." However, some reviewers found that the furniture breaks easily and might not withstand rough play from a toddler, with one reviewer commenting, "they’re nice to look at but the furniture isn’t that sturdy. I’ve had to glue a few pieces back together after only a couple of plays." That said another reviewer added, "the sturdy furniture was all assembled and finished perfectly for little hands to play with. The dolls are also finished nicely."

What age is appropriate for a child to have a dollhouse?
Most dollhouses advise that they are suitable for three years plus, which is a good age to introduce a dollhouse to your little one and a great way to develop their imaginative play. Children younger than three might be too rough for some of the more intricate dollhouse furniture and also there is a risk they could put small parts in their mouth. That said, some dollhouses are made specifically for younger children and include larger more robust accessories.
A dollhouse is a great investment and many can be passed down through the generations so they are a lovely thing to keep for adults and children alike. Plus they are brilliant for kids who love role play, or siblings who enjoy sharing toys.
Why shop the best deals on dollhouses?
Dollhouses can often be quite expensive toys which is why it is great to find a bargain. Plus, you often have to buy the dollhouse and accessories separately which can quickly add up so it's nice to save money by getting a good deal, whether you are shopping for Black Friday baby deals or for toddlers, saving money on toys, especially ones that last, is always a good thing.
