How did this product make your life easier?
Samantha: As a new Mum the baby activity sea themed gym by Lupilu makes my life easier because it not only occupies my little boy with fun, gentle and self soothing play, but it is always put on the ground, so that I know he is safe, especially given that he is just starting to learn how to roll. The reaching and coordinating helps him with his musculo-neurological development. His hand eye coordination has definitely improved since he started playing on this mat. There are lots of multisensory experiences for him. My favourite was the mirror, under the base of the silky ribboned octopus This play mat is super light weight and flat pack, a feature that should not be over looked given that many new mum’s are limited in lifting and carrying due to complications after labour and are lifting more often than usual as their baby starts to put on weight, so something light and transportable is really great. The fabric is so soft, that no marks or abrasions have occurred on my baby's skin whilst he has been wiggling away underneath it, All components of the mat were removable for cleaning. I only spot cleaned this mat for fear of ruining the plush fabric in the wash.
Katie: This product makes my life easier as a mum because it gives me somewhere to put my little girl and keep her entertained while I’m running around doing things in the house. My 2 year old also likes playing with it too so it keeps him preoccupied also. There are so many components to it, the 5 different mobiles and the different textures on the mat are great!
Emily: Being a twin Mum, this product is a necessity in my house, especially for babies who cannot sit up yet. This baby gym keeps my babies company whilst I can get other things done! The mat is a great size and fits both of my twins on it at the same time. It keeps them stimulated and interested and I love the under the sea theme and bright colours.
Would you recommend this to other parents?
Shannon: I would one hundred percent recommend this product! Not only is this one of the cheapest activity gyms that i have seen on the market but also one of the best! Its bright colours attract baby attention and the different toys keep them entertained for ages. Its easy to pack away into its own bag and transport from place to place.
Laura: It is so quick and easy to put together and take down and put away in the hygienic packaging, plastic cover secured with a zip. I don’t have to worry about the arch falling down or popping out as it feels very secure either clips that hold it down and in place. The colours are very vibrant to attract the babies attention, there are lots of textures too for the baby. Couldn’t want anymore from an activity gym.

Would you choose this product above all others on the market?
Lucy C: Based on price I would definitely choose this activity gym. There are ones on the market that are more to my taste colour wise but they are much more expensive; so for the price point I think this item is an excellent choice. And the toys you get with it are lovely and again all machine washable again which is bonus.
Laura M: I think it has a really comfy mat for baby to lie on makes them feel nice and secure ti play around with toys. I love most about this playmat but I do think if it was more bold colours it would stimulate baby a bit more and would be more eye catching for baby. I think the toys have lots of easy bit to grab epically the octopus which is ideal for babies.
Seema: Good product for the price and certainly as entertaining as other more expensive gyms we have bought. Doesn’t have lights and sounds and the toys are all fairly similar- or all soft. One is textured. All toys make a different sound- crinkle/bell Could have included more textures on the octopus tentacles Does have a tummy time mirror and teething rattle but my little one finds the mirror a bit too small.
What changes would you make to this product?
Samantha: Whilst the compact nature of it is great, something slightly bigger would have been welcome and it could have remained light and transportable. I felt that I would have liked it to arch a little higher and cover a larger area so that as my little boy started to roll, he would have more space to do so. This sea themed play mat can easily be shared by babies of similar age, room enough for two, but not quite big enough to accommodate a baby as they start to roll. I would generally prefer to use organic cotton rather than a poly synthetic, which can be sweaty in the summer.
Katie: If I would change one thing on this product, it would be the height of some of the toys that hang from the arches, the turtle hangs quite low and so if my daughter falls asleep on the mat, I have to make sure she’s in the middle so it doesn’t dangle in her face, the others are fine, it’s just that one that slightly too low.
Emily: The only thing I would change about the baby gym is to have some sort of noise and maybe some flashing lights but I guess that would make the price of it go up. I like the all the toys are detachable so that babies can play with them separately. My son really enjoys playing with the octopus! I wouldn't change anything else about this baby gym.
