Why would you recommend this product to a friend/fellow mum?

This logic based puzzle game aimed at 3-6 year old children, is based on the classic story of the three little pigs. The graphics on the front of the box made it instantly recognisable to my three year old and he started to tell me the story before even opening the box. He usually is not that interested in puzzle based games and can lose interest quickly however he played with this for a good 45 mins without break. Colourful and easy instructions make this a delight to play with. He quickly learned the point of the game and the ability to increase the difficulty levels meant that it kept his interest.

How does this product make your life easier as a mum?

This puzzle game was a great reason for interaction between my son and me. We sat quietly for 45 minutes and I was able to set the puzzles and give him gentle help when he got stuck. I loved the fact that I could see how his mind was working out the problems in front of him. I could see he was learning while having fun. I also found the added extra of the picture book without words was great, I had to make the story up in my own words making me concentrate on making it fun and we really enjoyed doing this together. Great bonding toy!!

If you could change one thing about this product what would it be?

There is only one thing that lets this toy down and that is the retail price. At £24.99 I would probably walk straight past this in a shop. Although a very well made and lasting toy I would only look at this if it was in the region of £15 to £18.

Why would you recommend this product to a friend/fellow mum?

As a mum and a manager of a preschool setting I am always on the look out for educational toys. I really rate the Three Little Piggies game. It is easy to teach to preschoolers and my son loved it. He was able to set the puzzle himself with some help and then try to find the logical answer. He really seemed to enjoy the task. It is made from quality material so I know it will last and the fact that it reinforces a classic children’s story is an added bonus. Love, love, love it.

How does this product make your life easier as a mum?

I like the fact that this puzzle game is educational and fun at the same time, I could see my child’s thought processes and it was interesting to see how many times he would try to get the answer before asking for help. At times it took me longer to figure out the correct answer than it did him! I think this a great addition to any child’s toy library.

If you could change one thing about this product what would it be?

I believe although this toy will last a child some years before they outgrow it, it is still a little on the expensive side. Retailing at slightly less would prove much more attractive to me as a buyer. Also a better quality box to store it in would be of benefit, once out it is quite difficult to get all the pieces back in and shut the box and it will wear overtime. Other than that a pretty perfect toy in my eyes.

Why would you recommend this product to a friend/fellow mum?

My daughters absolutely loved playing this game. It’s so different to any other games they have previously played and it kept them entertained for ages. Even though it’s a 1-player game, they took it in turns to complete each puzzle which was great to watch how differently there brains worked to complete each puzzle. I love that it can get taken out daily and they can’t remember the solution from the day before. The design is great, bright and appealing. The box could do with been a touch smaller as there is no need for it to be that big.

I loved watching my 3 year old and 5 year old play nicely together taking it in turns to complete the problems/puzzles.

If you could change one thing about this product what would it be?

I would love to see a travel-sized version.
