What they say:

“Extra sensitive, fragrance free baby wipes, as mild on baby's skin as cotton wool and water. pH skin neutral, specially formulated with 98% purified water to gently cleanse newborn, sensitive and eczema prone skin. Adopting the latest in fibre technology, the Newborn Baby Wipe delivers a white, thick, extremely soft wipe, which is soft and gentle from birth, giving parents confidence in the product when using on newborn skin.”

Would you recommend this to other mums?

Yes! The wipes are great value for money and are just as good as the more expensive brands. The packet can be resealed so the wipes don't dry out (you don't always get this on other packets of wipes). The wipes are moist and are easy to pull out of the packet (great when you have an exploding nappy!)

How did this product make your life easier?

The price is the best part of all! You are getting a great product that is just as good as the rest and you're paying half the price. I will be buying these wipes in bulk as they are so good! Why pay £1+ when you can pay 59p for a product that is just as good. This has made my life easier as on maternity pay you need to make savings wherever you can.

Would you choose this product to win?

They are specifically for newborns so when you're worried about what products to use on a new baby you know these are safe. They are fragrance free and are very moist. The packaging states that the wipes are as mild as cotton wool and water and I agree.

What changes would you make to this product?

I cannot think of a way to make this product any better than it already is. The wipes are well packaged, stay moist due to the way they are sealed. They are soft and kind to skin and as I've said before a lot cheaper than other leading brands that claim to do the same thing. You cannot improve on perfection!

Would you recommend this to other mums?

I would recommend these baby wipes to other mums. The packaging especially is great. Nice solid closing mechanism as opposed to a flimsy bit of sticky plastic that leaves the wipes prone to drying out or leaking. Decent wipes themselves, good quality wipes and great for even the driest sensitive baby skin.

How did this product make your life easier?

I would say they make life easier as the wipes are a great price, which means less worrying about having to buy so many wipes whilst on maternity pay especially. A very good rival to other supermarket brands. My changing bag has stayed lovely and leak free with the fab packaging design which is a huge bonus!

Would you choose this product to win?

I hadn't tried them before as I was dubious about a cheaper product but actually these are some of the best I've used and are fantastic value for money.

What changes would you make to this product?

I don't think I would change anything about this product. I'm extremely happy with them in all aspects. The packaging especially is great. Nice solid closing mechanism as opposed to a flimsy bit of sticky plastic that leaves the wipes prone to drying out or leaking. Decent wipes themselves, good quality wipes and great for even the driest sensitive baby skin.

I loved the Aldi Mamia Newborn Wipes! The wipes are really good quality and great for sensitive skin. They are also reasonably thick which is great when dealing with a particularly soft poo! The packaging is good quality and the pop up lid ensures that the wipes stay moist. The packet also seems smaller than other brands so fit in the changing bag for ease of transportation.

How did this product make your life easier?

Aldi Mamia Newborn Wipes are s a perfect size to fit neatly into the changing bag when out and about and the pop up lid is fantastic. Not many wipes have the plastic lid which means the wipes stay moist until the packet is empty! Nappy changing time is a dream with these amd they're even suitable for little (and big) faces.

Would you choose this product to win?

I love this product! I love everything about it. They are super sensitive just like they say and suitable for both bottoms and faces. The plastic lid (which isn't found on many wipe packets) keeps the wipes moist until you've used them all. The wipes are reasonably thick and seem to work really well with soft poo. The value for money is outstanding. Better than the 'top brand'!!

What changes would you make to this product?

I absolutely love these wipes. I previously used a different brand due to the fact that they are sensitive and have the plastic lid but these have changed me! I won't be buying my previous product any more and these are even cheaper. They are fantastic and I actually wouldn't change a thing about this product. Spot on!

The clip lid is perfect for wipes, I always look out for that design when purchasing wipes as they won't dry out. They are also excellent value for money. My baby has quite sensitive skin but these were great on his skin and they are lovely and soft. When taking a wipe out the don't have the tissue effect when lots come out at once.

How did this product make your life easier?

The don't come out lots at a time so there is no waste therefore will be much more cost efficient. I can pull one out one handed without having to hold the pack which definitely helps for changing nappies.

Would you choose this product to win?

The value for money and design are just as good as other more expensive brands. They are good quality wipes and nice and kind to my babies sensitive skin. There is no wastage from drying out due to the clip lid which I think is essential for wipes. Overall they are fantastic and I would recommend them to everyone.

What changes would you make to this product?

I think I would maybe have less wipes in the pack as it does take up quite alot of room in my changing bag but that would really be my only complaint. It's not an issue in the house but like most mums I have to take lots out with me so find they can be quite bulky. Maby a travel size pack would be good?

These were excellent in terms of ease of use. Love the plastic seal to keep wipes fresh. Always looking for the mildest wipes and don't like using fragrance alternatives on babies sensitive skin. Normally spend a fortune on water wipes but would recommend these as they do the same job for less than half the price.

How did this product make your life easier?

Easy seal pack means wipes don't end up drying out when left in the nappy bag or nursery room windowsill. This is a big plus point for an easy life as I've lost count of how many times I've reached for a wet wipe that ended up not being suitable for the job because it's dried out at the top of a pack with a substandard seal.

What changes would you make to this product?

These wipes are super sensitive but there's something about stripping products back to the bare necessities that is very appealing when it comes to looking after newborn skin. However given the significant price difference I don't think this small thing would put me off buying in future.
