Would you recommend this to other mums?
Mary: The products are 100% natural and designed for delicate skin so I would recommend them. I think the price may be a little too high but they are a good size and lasted a while. Weleda is a trusted brand and the products were good on my baby's skin. It would be a good starter for mums unsure of what to buy.
Victoria: I would recommend the Weleda range as they are a reasonably priced complete range that is suitable for a baby as well as older children, particularly those with sensitive skin. The whole range smells divine and they last well as you only need a small amount. The nappy cream is also good, rubs in easily and it seems to prevent nappy rash well.
Amanda: This is a good range of products and they all complement each other well. I found the bath products really moisturising, especially as you don't have to use too much product. My baby suffers from eczema and cradle cap and I found the body wash/shampoo did not irritate or aggravate the condition. I really liked that they are natural so I felt very comfortable using on my newborn baby.
How did this product make your life easier?
Lauren: I really like this product and it feels smooth on my baby's skin. I like the range that they offer as it makes life very easy when you have everything you need for caring for your baby's skin. I like to use the baby oil and you don't need a lot so it will last a while. All the products smell very nice.
Lauren: This collection makes my life easier because I know that they are safe to use on my baby and will be kind to his skin. This has saved me a lot of time as I usually have to check they are suitable and safe. I think it’s important to know that the products are organic.
Jennifer: Each of the products in the Weleda Calendula Collection is perfect for use on baby’s sensitive skin. The products are gentle, soothing and smell great. The bath cream is perfect for night time as the calming scent helped soothe baby to sleep. Skin felt soft and nourished and I particularly love the barrier cream as it is perfect for protecting the sensitive nappy area.
Would you choose this product to win?
Mary: I would choose this product as it is a trusted brand and although expensive, I know it works and it is kind to my baby's skin.
Victoria: I would choose this range above others on the market as the ingredients are gentle and are suitable for our three-month-old baby with dry skin and our three-year-old with eczema. It has the fantastic benefit of smelling absolutely beautiful. Although I would use the nappy cream as a preventative, I do think there are other products on the market which are better if a nappy rash does develop.
Amanda: I would highly recommend the calendula products. I loved the smell and how soft and moisturised my baby's skin feels after using them. They feel quite luxurious.
What changes would you make to this product?
Kylie: I do not like the scent of the products in this range and the packaging could be made more appealing by making it brighter and bolder.
Lauren: As this market is always growing and competition is fierce, I would suggest adding a scent to the baby oil to make it more appealing. The price is quite high, so promotions might mean people would be more willing to try the products. However, they are good value for money because of the high-quality ingredients.
Jennifer: I would have had a bigger bottle of the bath cream or preferred a product that lasted slightly longer. I feel that, for the cost of the product, it didn’t last for as many baths as I would have liked. The bath cream also left a greasy residue on bath toys and the bath itself which was a bit disappointing. Having said this, I would still buy the products as the positives outweigh the negatives.
