I am a mum of two, one three year old little boy and 16 month old little girl. I am forever  tidying away endless toys that don’t grab my children’s attention and end up never being played with. We have tested and played with the Wooden toy drinks dispenser. The frame of the dispenser is made from very good quality material, it is very solid and all functions work perfectly well. Both of my children ( 3 years and 16 months) absolutely loved this toy, they were so engrossed when playing. They loved putting the ice cubes in the top of the machine and pressing the dispenser, watching the ice cubes fall into the cups. The different juice colours are very simple to swap over, they just place easily into a cup. When putting the juice into the dispenser machine you push the juice block in and it easily comes out when pushing the leaver.

My son ( 3 years) absolutely loved this toy, he was playing with it for a lengthy amount of time. It really encourages imaginative play by being able to make drinks for his sister and his family members. My daughter ( 16 months) also really enjoyed playing with the drinks dispenser machine, it was not over complicated and there wasn’t any small dangerous pieces included which makes it a lot more diverse for different ages. 

Although the product is listed as wooden, all accessories are plastic including, juice inserts, ice cubes and cups. 

When unpacking this toy we didn’t feel as though there was an unnecessary amount of plastic, it was simple and quick to remove. Perfect for those impatient little toddlers wanting to get into play. 

After Testing out the Melissa and Doug drinks dispenser and all of its included accessories, we found that this toy was very well made perfect for indoor and outdoor use with it being so durable. It allows lots of playtime with it being very engaging for children. It most definitely helps encourage imaginative play. The only fault to this toy is that there is a lot of plastic included although the toy being listed as wooden. Over all a really good quality toy and definitely worth the price that it is sold for.

Majority of the included accessories are plastic free, soft and durable. The lettuce with the detaching leaves was very fun. The little wooden salt and pepper grinder is fantastic, really durable and so realistic with the sound of crunching it makes when turned. The material of this toy seems to be very durable and should last a long time. The accessories are all made of good quality material there is a few felt, Velcro and wooden items. 
When removing this toy from the packaging we did not find an unnecessary amount of plastic and it was straight forward to get out. The toy was nice and secure avoiding any damaged in delivery. 

After testing out this toy, we have concluded that the Salad and chop spinner is a really fantastic toy. I could not find any faults and have struggled to see any negatives what so ever. The quality of it is impressive, all accessories have so much great detail. This toy really captivated my children’s attention. Over all a perfect toy and absolutely great value for money!
