We spoke to these real parent testers to get their review...

How did this product make your life easier?

Monica: This stroller folds down so small that it’s perfect for taking on holiday or in the car on day trips, because it doesn’t take up much space at all. It is really easy to put up, and you can do it with just one hand which is great if you have to hold the baby in the other hand. It is really light to push, and has a nice big hood which helps for sunny days or rainy days. The rain cover also has a bit you can fold down and some air holes, meaning it doesn’t steam up like some other brands do.

Danielle: This product made just nipping out so much easier. I was able just to quickly pop up the pram when nipping into places without lugging a base and seat attachment out the boat and then placing it together. Being so compact made it easier for when going out with other friends and family who have smaller cars than myself as I knew no matter their car size the Libelle would fit perfectly with plenty of room to fit shopping and more in. For me personally, my eldest child is in a wheelchair so it meant I could fit both her chair and my son's pram in the boot with plenty of spare space. I could easily pop her into the pushchair too when needed instead of carrying a heavy metal frame.

Rachel: The Libelle is incredibly lightweight and so easy to transport when on the go. It can be put up and down within 30 seconds allowing quick access on the school run or when out and about at the shops. The space-saving feature is ideal for mums with multiple children because it only uses a quarter of the space other strollers take up.

Would you recommend this to other parents?

Amanda: If a friend was looking for a lightweight stroller then I would recommend this product as I think it's good to have when travelling and you need something light and easy to transport. It can be opened and folded away relatively easily. The design is really nice, I especially like the handlebars and the range of colours that it's available in.

Kimberly: I would highly recommend this stroller to friends or family. I would emphasise the lightweight features and its ease of folding. It also feels like it is made of quality materials that will last. The colour of the fabrics was cheerful and appealing and it was great that it came with a good size sunshade and rain cover so that it was a complete package. The straps are easy to use and adjust and should be easy to clean. it was extremely easy to assemble. It says it can be used with a car seat for newborns but I'm not sure I would feel that confident with a newborn in it as it is so lightweight but my daughter is 1 and it was perfect for her. She seems very comfortable in it.

Ellen: If a fellow mum was looking for a stroller to fit into small boot spaces and could be collapsed and unfolded quickly or for travelling then I would definitely recommend the Libelle to her as it fits that criteria perfectly. The machine-washable fabric is a great feature too. The only downside to this stroller is that it doesn’t recline far enough.

Would you choose this product above all others on the market?

Monica: I had never heard of this make, but am so pleased I got chosen to test it because it’s made my life easier, particularly as I have had health issues since I gave birth which makes it hard for me to carry heavy items. I think it is good value for money, and the ease with which you can put the buggy up and fold it down is unbelievable. If you have an impatient tired baby you want to have this buggy because it’s so quick to put away when you’re ready to come home. The wheels are solid enough for everyday use as well.

Danielle: Yes. Although it is a bit of the more expensive size it really added ease to my life I needed as a busy mum to two - one having a disability. The thing which stands out the most to me is how compact it folds, seeing it so small really shocked me and made me super excited to show everyone mum I knew so that they could see how amazing it is. The only downside to me was it did feel slightly flimsy at times

Rachel: This stroller should win for such an incredible design and concept. The practicality of having stroller that collapses into a quarter of the size is fantastic. It’s ideal for trips away and holidays abroad when your child needs a rest. My son isn’t reliant on a stroller for everyday use but still needs it for those long days out as a family, when lots of walking is involved which means we can always have it handy in the car because it takes little space up like others. The foldability is by far the best feature and nothing else on the market compares in size.

What changes would you make to this product?

Amanda: It would be to improve the robustness of the frame as in its current form it wouldn't be suitable for everything I'd need it for. It would be fine for a lightweight stroller that I'd use on holiday abroad, where Id need something small and lightweight to put in travel compartments however I wouldn't use it day today.

Kimberly: I would suggest that they have a handle at the back which would make it easier to carry when it's folded. This small change would make it even more portable and practical. It would mean that you could carry the buggy over your shoulder and have hands free for a wriggling/ reluctant child. Some other brands eg baby jogger city tour lux offer this function.

Ellen: The one thing I would change about the Cybex Libelle is the seating position. I couldn’t get the seat in a position where my daughter could sit up straight or lay down flat. She just didn’t seem comfortable in the stroller. My daughter often falls asleep in her stroller during my daily walk and the other stroller I own recliners to a position where she can lay completely flat meaning she has a hood nap.
