The 2-in-1 Pallas G i-Size impact shield car seat grows with your child to provide optimum support, protection and comfort. Tested to the UN R129/03 latest standard, it provides: Over 40 per cent less strain on the neck - the impact shield helps reduce the risk of neck injuries in a frontal collision when compared to a harness system.
It secures your child safely in seconds ensuring they are protected from 15 months until they grow to 21kg (at least 105cm tall). It's an ideal car seat for five-year-olds, and when outgrown, the impact shield is then removed, and the seat is secured by the vehicle seatbelt until they reach approximately 12 years old.

How did this product make your life easier?
Haylee: The Cybex Pallas G i-size makes my life easier as a mum because it is very simple to get my little girl in and out of the car, one simple buckle clip and she is secure and comfortable. I was a little apprehensive about using this car seat at first, as although my daughter met the recommended specifications needed to use it I had read lots of information about keeping children rear-facing for as long as possible. Having said that I feel like she is very safe in this seat and she is very happy to be forward-facing and car journeys are more enjoyable for us all when she is happy.
Claire: Overall, the seat is very easy to set up and use. It's not as heavy as the previous seats I've had. The locking mechanism is very easy to use and inspires confidence. As the front restraint can be removed, it makes it easy to get our child in and out. Just be sure to follow all instructions before initial use.
Nicola: Our three-year-old was becoming quite the master at trying to get out of her straps in her old car seat. With the Pallas G I-Size, it really put my mind at rest knowing that she could not escape! It has definitely made our car journeys much more enjoyable as I don't find myself panicking that she may try to escape. The Pallas G I-Size is extremely simple to use, I was worried that the impact shield may be hard to adjust but it is unbelievably simple. My daughter even likes to think of it as a tray for her to play on whilst on our journeys! I was also worried as to how my daughter would adjust to the impact shield, the first few trips she was a little reluctant to have this put on her which I think was due to the closeness of something so big against her. She soon learned to be content with it.
Would you recommend this to other parents?
Louise: I would recommend this product to a friend as the safety benefits compared to a normal strapped car seat and the risks posed to a child from the impact of a crash. My only negative of the seat is that in the hot weather the barrier creates a lot of heat on the child's stomach and it can become very sweaty if in the car longer than 15/20 minutes
Kaite: This car seat solves the problems we have of our little one taking the straps off her shoulders. Our toddler was comfortable in the seat and enjoyed being in it. We had comfort in knowing she was safer as a forward-facing passenger although personally, I would always recommend a rear-facing car seat at this age. However, if rear-facing wasn't an option I would recommend this one.
Stacey: I would definitely recommend this product to my mum friends - in fact, I already have! I think keeping children safe is a big thing for mums and I personally like that it has the Isofix attachment and additional strap at the back of the car seat for extra security. The ease of getting your child into the car seat compared to a seat belt seat is incredible, especially when they get to the age of being wriggly and not wanting to sit still! I also love how comfy my daughter looks in the car seat when she is asleep as her head doesn't flop forward.
Would you choose this product above all others on the market?
Miranda: I would choose this car seat above others on the market due to value for money, ease of use and longevity of the product. It can be used for a variety of ages and is therefore suitable if you have children of differing ages to accommodate at different times. It has a simple ergonomic design and appears safe
Kimberly: I was really quite nervous about switching my daughter from rear to front-facing but she is clearly very comfortable in this seat, not only that, she loves being able to see a little more of what’s going on around her. I like The chic colour options - the grey is stylish and obviously super practical for stain hiding and also perfect for both genders which is really nice.
Haylee: All of the car seats I have chosen for my little girl have been in the Cybex range so I would definitely choose this car seat over others on the market for a forward-facing car seat. I like the orange colour, as well as it being bright and cheerful, It is also an added safety benefit of being easily seen if ever in an accident.
What changes would you make to this product?
Claire: I wouldn't really change much about this seat apart from the colour options could be improved - it would be nice to see more options. We have the red one and although it is nice, it is quite bright and does seem to show up spillages and stains quite a lot. Other than that, I wouldn't see any need to change anything
Nicola: I'm unsure if this would be possible, but it would be great to adapt the seat so it can be used from birth as a rear-facing seat too. Only because that would mean as parents we wouldn't have to think about purchasing another seat a year or two down the line. Other than that I really cannot fault the Pallas G I-Size.
Louise: It is quite heavy so maybe I would make it lighter if possible however this is probably down to the crash barrier which is the star of the product and the benefits of the same. Maybe they could incorporate some mesh into the barrier to allow airflow to the stomach of the child for when the weather is hot.
