Testing the Dani Dyer Rose Gold Marble Belgravia Travel System
Assembly was very easy, as it arrived already put together. Assembling the different travel systems was fine as there are instructions and hints on labels on the buggy. The buggy was tricky for me to fold initially, it took a few goes to understand how the release worked. It’s quite a unique system where you have to put a specific pressure on the handles to fold it. Once I had mastered it, folding it down was a doddle. I think anyone using the buggy occasionally, like Grandparents, would struggle to get it initially. It is quite heavy, so I don’t think I would manage it on my own with my daughter if I had to fold it up and carry it. I couldn’t carry it with one hand so any real length of time.
The travel system includes a bassinet, which can be used from newborn on. I loved how the bassinet has a proper mattress and ventilation, as we used the bassinet for my son to sleep in. The infant seat was great with my 1 year old nephew and 2 year old daughter. The actual seat is quite short, so I don’t think this would stretch to occasionally let an older child sit in it. The size is perfect for our family, because it folds down to be really small and compact. When using it in the city, it is comfortable to push around busy streets and doesn’t take up much space on the bus. It is a strong buggy, and I felt very comfortable manoeuvring it around the busy city centre. It is designed for the city as opposed to off-roading.
With the infant seat attached, the buggy folds down to be really compact, perfect for storage in our car or in our small hallway. When the wheels are in the correct position it can be freestanding, so no scuff marks on walls! This is absolutely essential for us as we don’t have much storage space at home. It is heavy so not the most ‘travel-friendly’ option on the market in my opinion.
There are several adjustments you can make to the seat whilst in infant position; laying the back flat and raising the leg rest. The sunshade can be adjusted in multiple different positions- which can be really handy in different weathers/at different times of day. My daughter could happily take a nap in this buggy whilst we were on the go. It had one of the best systems I have seen to exchange seats, where the infant seat has these small handles on them, meaning you can easily swap seat position to front or rear facing.
I love buggy’s with high seats, as I don’t feel so safe when my children are too close to the ground. This buggy has a great seat height. The fasteners are all child proof and easy to secure, with a magnet style fastener. The brakes are easy to secure and release and the pedal is large enough to activate it with ease, without accidentally stepping on it whilst walking. I got my husband to try test this, as this was a reoccurring issue we have had with other buggies, and it passed the test. It doesn’t get in the way when you are walking. It feels very stable and doesn’t tip when pushed around tight corners- some of the mechanisms feel slightly fragile so only time will tell if they would be durable in the long run.
The cover felt plasticky for my liking and was really shiny as opposed to matt-look. An advantage of that was that it was easy to wipe down and clean. I really love the frame of the buggy, it is sleek and stylish. I loved the handle with stitching. I also really like the interior of the bassinet and infant seat. It has a very chic stitching pattern that makes it look high-end. I personally don’t love the feel of the marble part of the exterior, as it feels like plastic.

How did this product make your life easier?
Kayleigh said: "This product makes my life easier as a mum as it folds really compact and is so lightweight compared to many other travel systems, the folding mechanism is so easy to use even while holding the baby. The enclosed basket underneath and extending hood are super bonuses to this already amazing travel system."
Joanna-Bella said: "This travel system is amazing. It's so easy to put up and fold with one hand, and switch between seat styles, which is everything you need In a travel system. The fact it all comes as a package and you don't need to worry about finding the correct accessories anywhere else, the box has it all. The shopping basket being large with zips is a god send."
Sarah said: "On a day to day basis the Dani Dyer pushchair has been efficient in terms of storage and use. It’s not heavy and therefore makes light work of getting out and putting away. The foldable seat is definitely a plus for me. The travel system is also comfortable and light in terms of pushing around, combined with the storage compartment underneath that can be closed to protect belongings. The pushchair seat I would say is bigger than average and therefore this makes the travel system suitable for longer use. My little girl is 21 months and has plenty of room in the seat to grow, the width of the seat is also large. These have been a real plus as she seems comfortable and happy to stay in pushchair while out and about!"
Would you recommend this to other parents?
Alison said: "The standout style alone is the main reason I’d recommend it. I loved the faux leather, gold and pattern. My daughter loved sitting in it, the seat is really roomy so will easily grow your baby. And the lie back feather, especially its the hood extended, meant longer, comfier naps. I like that you can make the seat parent or forward-facing so she was more protected when we were in busier towns. You get a lot of kit for your money too."
Sarah said: "I would recommend this product as I found the design and fabric easily wipeable. It's perfect for a quick wipe down after use. Overall, the pushchair is easy to use and doesn't take up all of the boot space - ideal when the car is packed full of the kid's stuff. The pushchair and bassinet fold down easily once you know how, I must say that the instructions were not all that clear on how to fold and unfold. Easy to lift into the boot. Durability wise, the pushchair did very well in daily use to park, shopping, general pathways, it felt sturdy."
Joanna-Bella said: "The colours and design of this are stunning, a real head Turner of a pram for anyone, it will make any other mum jealous of you. The fact that it can fold and flip between seats so easy is a must have, and the way it glides over most terrains gives this travel system extra bonuses. It's wipe down, so makes any little accidents easy to fix, another great for a busy mum on the go."
Would you choose this product above all others on the market?
Kayleigh said: "I would definitely choose this product over all others on the market as it is stunning to look at as well as being practical and comfortable for both parent and baby. I think this product should win as it really does have it all. The extending handle bar makes pushing the pram easy for any height and as it is so lightweight and easy to manoeuvre it’s really a very good all-rounder."
Joanna-Bella said: "I would choose this travel system above any other because I love the boldness of the design, the way it moves when pushed and the ease you can use it and hold your baby at the same time. The fact it folds up so small, means that travelling with a child of any age with all their accessories, is the biggest selling point for me, it can fit in the smallest of car boots with zero effort."
Alison said: "I loved the style, ease of pushing, comfort for my baby, ample and secure shopping basket, parent and forward facing capabilities and various seat back features. However, it was a little temperamental to fold, and it didn’t always click into place once unfolded, you have to give it some force to collapse and the button you press on the under side of seat, which isn’t mentioned in the instructions."
What changes would you make to this product?
Sarah said: "I would change the design of the frame to make it more sturdy and easier to unfold (give clearer instructions in the manual if not). This would save even more time when setting up. I personally I would choose the pattern to make more gender neutral as I did have a lot of comments when putting my newborn baby boy in the bassinet."
Kayleigh said: "If I could change anything about this travel system it would be being able to fold the pushchair flat while in parent facing mode. The extending sun hood is amazing. However, as it has a mesh component to it the sun often still gets in baby’s eyes so I would recommend adding an additional flap on the material so that this can be covered while having the hood in the fully extending position."
Joanna-Bella said: "I would only change the fact you don't get a cup holder in the full travel system, only because I find them so useful and have chosen a pushchair in the past for the fact it had one as standard. Other than that, which is a very minor and just me want, I wouldn't change a thing. Thus travel system ticks more boxes than I knew I needed."
