Testing the Dudley the Dinosaur Trunk

As a parent, I love this little case and so do my children. It’s perfect for holidays, trips away or even just an overnight stay. You can put clothes, toys and food inside the trunks, the possibilities are endless. Children like to copy us adults so this little case lets them do so whilst being very handy indeed. We love these cases so much we bought another for our other child.

Our son enjoyed the design as he loves dinosaurs. It's doubled up a play room storage. Also doubled up a play room toy that he likes to use. We took the trunki away and found we could pack a good amount of toys in there for our trip. Ryanair unfortunately do not accept trunki's as hand luggage - no fault of trunki more of an annoyance at Ryanair!

Solid piece of luggage for transporting either toys/entertainment or a weekends worth of clothes. Fun brightly coloured designed enjoyed by my toddler. He has been riding this around the house empty for weeks despite me thinking I’d put it away! Durable design means I wasn’t worried about him being “rough” with it either.

Really easy go to for something to put all my sons clothes and bits in for going away for the weekend or on holiday. He loves that it looks like a dinosaur and he can ride of it and even fill it himself. It has a really easy locking system with key attached to the strap which is great. It is surprising spacious and can hold a weeks worth of clothes.

We've used to go away for a few weekend breaks and it's the perfect size for my child to fit in a few toys and a couple of days worth of clothing. The straps/clips on the inside make it easy to separate the clothes and keep them secure when travelling. It's easy to open and close but also difficult to stop a small pair of hands opening it in transit. The fact it is on wheels and can be pulled is a big bonus. My daughter enjoyed pulling it along like a 'grown-up'. It's wipe clean and despite being used several times the design hasn't faded or rubbed off.

Our little boy was able to move it himself, whether that be pulling it himself or riding on it. It meant I could be handy free for the baby or push the pram and carry stuff. We have used the product on a holiday to Spain through the airport, which is definitely where it got the best use and then we used it going down to the pool. My child is 3 and a half and he food it very easy to use and comfortable. His feet touch the ground and were able to manoeuvre it himself. We also brought it with us on holidays in the car and it fitted perfectly under his feet so not taking up much space. It’s the perfect size for taking clothes etc for a long weekend for him. All his stuff fitted in it and it doesn’t feel overly heavy.

Final thoughts

The Dudley the Dinosaur Trunk Pro makes travelling easier for any parent. The product serves many purposes, from entertainment for children when travelling to comforting travel ompanies.

Little Dino explorers can ride, carry, and pack all their belongings for a short getaway. The product is easy to clean for parents and is made from hard plastic, which simply needs to be whipped with soap and water or antibacterial wipes.

However, with the Dudley the Dinosaur having all these amazing features, it does have some areas for improvement. The straps are an awkward shape for parents to carry over their children, and some may find the case too small for all their children's belongings.
