Would you recommend this to other mums?

I would recommend this to a fellow mum because it smells gorgeous compared to other brands. It also doesn't leave your hands sticky after using it. I'd recommend it as a well -known family brand, and a well-loved household name. What stands out is its size and ease of use, perfect for all the family!

How did this product make your life easier?

This product makes my life easier as a mum because it's so handy to store away in my handbag, changing bag or my boys’ backpacks on the go. It's perfect for family days out, when there are bound to be messy moments. It also works as a table cleaner.

Would you choose this product to win?

I would choose this product yes. Over the last two years we've used various brands of hand gel and never been satisfied! The label clearly highlights that it is family friendly, which greatly appealed to me. The gel smells nice and doesn't leave you feeling sticky after use. I like the size of the bottle as well.

What changes would you make to this product?

If I could change anything, it would be nice to have a pump lid, as I have a tendency to squirt far too much out the bottle in one go! The brand could also make bigger sizes as, with two children under two, I can't imagine that this bottle would last me long. But the product is excellent quality and I would highly recommend it.

Would you recommend this to other mums?

I would recommend this to other mums as it is non-sticky and the bottle is so small that it fits in my hand bag which is so convenient! The gel really does makes you feel clean, smells good and dries fast too. You are able to use this anywhere, so it is ideal for young kids and babies.

How did this product make your life easier?

It was very handy. As a mum, germs are a big worry for us, so this product was very useful to carry around with you. Crucially, there was not a strong chemically smell from the bottle which is nice when rubbing on mine or babies skin.

Would you choose this product to win?

I would choose this product yes, but it is a bit pricey for the size of the bottle. The quality is evident though and I’m a big fan.

What changes would you make to this product?

Potentially the size of the bottle, given the asking price. But I do trust Milton as a brand!

Tested by mum Jennifer Lloyd for the Mother & Baby awards 2018:

Would you recommend this to other mums?

Yes, you definitely need it when you are out and about as you are always changing nappies or preparing food. It is a must-have accessory and I always check that I have it in my bag. It smells fresh, dries really quickly and comes in an easy to use bottle. 100 ml is a good size and lasts a while.

How did this product make your life easier?

This product definitely makes my life easier as a mum. I actually even used it before I was sent the sample because I trusted the Milton brand. If I am out and want to feed or change my daughter but there are no bathroom facilities around, I am no longer worried as know I have hand gel in my bag.

Would you choose this product to win?

Yes definitely, as I already buy it myself it’s so great! You know with Milton that their products are reliable and trustworthy. The fact it has a picture of a mum and baby on the packaging also encouraged me to buy it and made it stand out as you automatically know it is safe to use then hold a baby after!

What changes would you make to this product?

I would make it cheaper as I’ve seen less expensive hand gels on the market, so it would be more competitive. I would also probably put some more information on the back to encourage mums, who may not have used hand gel before, to use it.

Tested by mum Kayleigh Livingstone for the Mother & Baby awards 2018:

Would you recommend this to other mums?

I would recommend Milton Antibacterial hand gel to a fellow mum as it is small and light, so is easy to carry in a changing bag, car or around the house. It is perfect for those situations where there are no wash facilities. It helps mums to keep their hands clean which is always a win with a new baby.

How did this product make your life easier?

I usually keep Milton hand gel in the car to use instead of tissue. I need it after getting petrol to ensure I do not spread germs to my baby or other surfaces. I found this hand gel amazing!

Would you choose this product to win?

I use a lot of hand gel in my job and as a mother this is the best one to choose. It does not leave a sticky residue like others. Milton hand gel has a nice after smell, unlike others that leave your hands smelling of alcohol. Also, it doesn’t dry out your skin – I  cannot find a fault with this hand gel. There are other products on the market that are cheaper but you get what you pay for as this is better quality.

What changes would you make to this product?

Nothing, it’s such a good product.

Tested by mum Zara Lord for the Mother & Baby awards 2018:

Would you recommend this to other mums?

I already have recommended this product to a fellow mum. The packaging and the smell are very consistent with Milton products and I like that. This product leaves your hands feeling clean and without a greasy feel. The lid is easy to open especially when holding a child and the bottle is not too big, it fits in your baby bag and is easy to carry around. The only thing is it is quite pricey compared to other hand gels on the market.

How did this product make your life easier?

As a mum, nappy changing is a task which requires some clean up and this Milton gel makes it quick and easy. You can put just a few drops on your hand and rub it in, no water needed!

Would you choose this product to win?

The fact that this hand sterilizer is from Milton makes me trust the product, as I trust the brand. The colour of the bottle stands out on the shelves too.

What changes would you make to this product?

Although this product says it’s supposed to be moisturising, after using it a few times my hands felt slightly dry and I ended up having to use hand cream. I would add something else which moisturises the hands a little more. But otherwise I love this hand gel!
