ABC’s Design Cobra 3 Wheeler Travel System has everything you need for a baby and beyond, including a pram, carrycot (with a nice mattress) and car seat. It assembles easily and adjusts without complication.

The storage basket is large and accessible and the pushchair has a brilliant hood that is part mesh, which makes for easy viewing. It’s easy to steer, with adjustable handles, and manoeuvres well over all types of terrain. The included rain cover is quick and easy to fit and the bumper bar is a great feature. The 3-stage recline function is also a major plus!

However, the pushchair (and the system as a whole) is quite bulky: the wheels are big and it can be a struggle to get the pushchair through narrower doorframes, never mind down aisles and into car boots. The system is also difficult to collapse, even with the instructions (which are not very clear). And one last niggle with the pushchair is that the flap on the hood has a tendency to blow open in the wind, allowing sun through onto baby’s face (note to the manufacturer: a piece of Velcro would secure the flap in place).

Overall, a quality product and in spite of a couple of possible improvements, good value for money.
