How did this product make your life easier?
Lauren: The most outstanding feature of the Peg Perego YPSI Combo System for me was the volume of the storage under the buggy teamed with the slimline structure of the wheelbase. This combination of factors made it easier for me to manoeuvre on busy city public transport and enabled me to complete multiple errands and daily tasks easily.
Lydia: This product was great fun to use for my toddler and newborn. The Peg Perego YPSI Combo System was easy to set up and the attachments were easy to change. The shopping compartment was a great size for a large changing bag. The base was easy to fold away with one hand. The seats could be faced both ways. My toddler prefers to see what’s going on so they enjoy facing forward and my baby faced in so I could keep an eye on her. It’s also handy that covers etc can be washed.
Natalie: This Peg Perego YPSI Combo System feels very high quality; simply, it makes life easier as a mum when you know that your baby is comfortable both in sleeping and awake positions, and secure. The suspension on the chassis felt good and not too bumpy when going over some cobbled streets/uneven pavements, and the mechanism to lay flat or sit upright in the seat was straight forward. I also didn’t have any trouble folding up the pushchair, once I looked at a video instruction available online - so, folding/stowing was quick, which is great when you’re often facing competing demands as a new mum.
Would you recommend this to other mums?
Roxy: The YSPI travel system is a stylish piece of kit. They come in black or grey colourways with leather trims – a chic and classic look, which will see you through a second (or third!) baby. The buggy is ideal for smaller homes, or homes with limited storage space, as once folded (which is very simple) it can be stored upright/standing up, which is ideal for homes with little storage space. One of the best features of this buggy is that the bassinet can be tilted, which is great for babies with reflux, as lying down completely flat can aggravate the condition. Most other bassinets don't have this capability, so this is a real bonus point. Happy baby, happy mummy.
Helen: It offers flexibility and folds down to a reasonable size meaning it is easy to store in the house and it comfortably fits in most car boots. The Isofix car seat offers a safe option for your baby when in the car traveling. The seat unit, bassinette and car seat are all really comfortable and padded so children using them appear really happy when in them.
Caroline: The car seat looks great and has so much padding that my newborn looks well supported and comfortable even on a bumpy route. The pram looks lovely and the bassinet is lovely. The faux leather gives a sense of luxury and the textile colour is really nice to look at. The telescopic handle is fantastic for the taller folk.
Would you choose this product to win?
Tina: No. While this pram has many benefits, I think there are many more affordable options with the same (or more) advantages on the market. The brakes feel a bit flimsy and the footmuff cannot fully be removed which might cause issues on hot summer days. What I like about my current pram is that I only need one pram attachment, rather than a bassinet and a stroller seat.
Charlotte: I wouldn’t choose this product, no. I feel there are a few things overlooked. The buckle on the car seat is an absolute nightmare, it is not placed well at all and makes life difficult when you just want to get home or baby is unhappy. You have to loosen the straps from below the fabric, replace the fabric and even then it’s so difficult to plug it in. Then the material gets caught in the buckle. I also feel the material is cheap, it may look nice but it doesn’t feel as good as it looks. The base that fits into the car seems very plasticky and of low quality. The wheels are small and do not make for a smooth run at all.
Natalie: I really enjoyed using this Peg Perego YPSI Combo System product. It felt robust and solid, but still easy to manoeuvre about… my baby seemed very comfortable, and I felt she was very secure in the harness fitting. While I haven’t tried other direct competitors, this made it a really strong candidate in my eyes. I liked the options that this system gives, to be able to sit upright/lay flat the seat as well as alter the direction of the baby's travels by reversing the seat. Compared to other competitors, the quality of this product seems high. Aesthetically, it is very stylish with the black material and brown leather handlebar trim.
What changes would you make to this product?
Lindsay: I would definitely change the design of the Peg Perego YPSI Combo System. It needs to be sturdier, especially when you're pushing the handle as it feels like it’s going to snap off - it’s very wobbly. Also, I’d change the way it’s put up as it’s very difficult to get it up, especially the first time you do it. There's too much-faffing around for my liking when you have a little one.
Chloe: The hood (when on the bassinet of the Peg Perego YPSI Combo System) is either fully extended or fully retracted. I would prefer to have multiple stop options between these two extremes. Also, two hands are needed to press the buttons that allow the hood to retract, although this is good for stopping the hood from dropping down, it is not always possible to have two hands available.
Helen: I think that when comparing the quality of this product to others the retail price of this product does not match the quality of others that are priced at a similar level or even less. The frame of the pram feels and looks cheap, it is flimsy and rattles when using the pram unloaded.
