How did this product make your life easier?

Evie: I liked the way I could quickly fill the moulds and pop them straight in the freezer. My little one was teething and found the lollies very soothing on his gums, making him a happier little man which results in a happy mommy. Im always on the lookout for new and exciting products relating to snack time as lets face it, toddlers love to eat! Making him healthy snacks with my own ingredients gives me peace of mind that im not filling him with additives and junk.

Hannah: The ice lolly moulds are a great tool for making healthy and tasty snacks for my baby. They are also so handy to use when baby is teething as the cold texture of the ice really seems to sooth her gums. I found it very useful to have a couple of simple recipe ideas on the box and immediately gave these a go. My little one loves them and I’ve even enjoyed one or two myself!

Rebecca: This product made my life easier as a mum as I was able to have peace of mind when weaning my baby. I was able to give him fruit without worrying that he could choke. The lollies also allowed me to be prepared as a mum as I could prep them the night before. They were also very good when teething as I was able to freeze fruit.

Would you recommend this to other mums?

Rebecca: I would recommend this product for its value for money. There are other similar items on the market that cost a lot more than this product but I think this product is just as good. I loved how easy it was to use and clean. I would recommend it whilst weaning as it helps keep baby safe and prevents choking.

Charlotte: The smaller design means it can fit into one of our standard size drawers in the freezer rather that having to use the deeper drawer. It can go in the dishwasher as well which is good for ease of use. The handles are quite big considering the overall size of the mould which means it is easy for little hands to hold onto.

Jennifer: I'd recommend it to other mums as it's value for money, easy to use and really handy, particularly when baby is teething. And when baby is having a full-on meltdown at mealtime or any other time, to be honest, it's so so handy to have a good distraction so you can do what you need to do. And babies are fickle, sometimes toys that they've seen a thousand times a day don't work for this. But something they can shove in their mouth and eat is so handy and like I say, particularly when teething. The handles are a really good size for little hands too.

Would you choose this product to win?

Hannah: I would definitely choose these above as I’ve found it tricky finding competitor brands that offer ice lolly moulds for younger than around 9 months and was pleasantly surprised to find that these were suitable for 6 months plus. The design is simple but fun and I think they are the nicest looking moulds I’ve seen on the market. I would recommend to all friends and family as they are so reasonably priced for the quality. I think this product should win this category without a doubt.

Rebecca: Yes! It is a fantastic price. It looks pleasent and eye catching. It is easy for baby to hold and use independently. It is easily cleaned and reused. I have bought other similar products that cosy much more however this one is my favourite. I would definitely buy this product again and use it in the future.

Charlotte: I like the smaller design of the ice lolly mould for weaning. Gives little ones something different to try and eat. The smaller mould gives a smaller ice lolly as inevitably most of it will end up melted on their hands and face while they explore the ice lolly. The lid clicks onto the mould so feels a bit more secure when you are trying to put the product into the freezer when in liquid form. The cheaper price makes it an easily accessible product on the market.

What changes would you make to this product?

Kirstie: I would change the size of the product purely for fitting in my very small freezer. I would also add something to it to make it easier to remove from the moulds. Maybe remove the plastic and replace with silicone so whatever is put inside can be slid out much easier. Again the handles, possibly replace with silicone so there much more flexible for adults and children's hands.

Evie: If I could change anything about the product it would be to somehow make it easier to release the lollies from the moulds when its time to serve them, I found running them under warm water got them out but it meant my toddler was left waiting for his lolly and as we all know, children have no patience, especially young ones.

Hannah: Personally I think it would be nice to have more than just one size in the lollies. They are perfect for a 6 month old baby but I can imagine in a few months that one won’t be enough. It would be good to have the option to make slightly bigger lolly’s as the child grows. There is very little else I can fault with this product as it’s just simple and effective and does exactly what you would expect.
