Tested by mum Fleur Bryant for the M&B Awards 2016:

Why would you recommend this product to a friend/fellow mum?

Both my sons (ages: 3yr & 6 months) loved these fruit pots. In fact, my 3 year old particularly asked for one the following day. They are a very smooth consistency which is good for weaning in the early days. The lids are secured well and I feel confident taking them out without the risk of them leaking.

How does this product make your life easier as a mum?

The Mamia Apple and Pear Fruit Pots are a good pudding to have in the cupboard that can't go off. This is particularly important for me as my eldest son has to have medication in cold or room temperature food in the evening which means it is always pudding and therefore I always need something in my cupboard that I can put that won't go off in case there is a problem with cold products. Having something that he particularly likes is a bonus as it means I have no problems getting the medication into him. For my 6 month old, it is great to have a product that is so easily accepted in the early days of weaning.

If you could change one thing about this product what would it be?

Nothing.

Good taste, good price, lightweight, ideal for weaning if not wanting to prepare fresh food.

How does this product make your life easier as a mum?

Ideal for weaning and using when travelling. Liked by baby. Cheaper than other fruit pots available.

If you could change one thing about this product what would it be?

None.

Why would you recommend this product to a friend/fellow mum?

Very fruity taste, just the right amount in each pot for little tummies, good texture easy to eat and digest, only has natural sugars in from the fruit and no artificial sugars.

Quick and easy way to get your little one to eat fruit, you can add fruit pots to other things like porridge, you can use as 1 of little one’s 5-a-day.

If you could change one thing about this product what would it be?

The pots would be great if you could reseal them.

The Mamia Apple and Pear Fruit Pots are designed for babies aged 4 months plus, but I used them with my baby who is nearly 10 months and she gobbled them up! They come in Apple and Pear flavour, packaged in yoghurt pots with a foil lid to keep them fresh. In my opinion, it would be better to have a wider range of flavours available. Easy to open and use, both at home and on the move. Compared to other similar products on the market, they are exceptionally well-priced. A big hit in our household!

When time is short and life is chaotic, these fruit pots are easy to grab out of the fridge and mix in with your little one's breakfast or natural yoghurt, or simply serve direct from the pot for a healthy snack or meal. Much easier than chopping up fruit and blitzing it!

If you could change one thing about this product what would it be?

The plastic between each individual pot was sometimes a little stubborn and didn't snap very easily when trying to separate them. A wider range of fruit flavours would be great.

Why would you recommend this product to a friend/fellow mum?

I would recommend the Mamia Apple and Pear Fruit Pots as it’s such good value for money. They are easy to use and displayed as snapable yoghurt style pots. They are smooth and because it is pureed fruit it is very sweet and appeals to my baby's taste buds. The combination flavour takes the edge off the bitterness of apple on its own.

How does this product make your life easier as a mum?

It's a pre-prepped fruit pot which means that I don't have to peel, cook and blend fruit for my baby which is handy when I am out and about and baby needs to be fed. It fits neatly into the lunch pack as well.

If you could change one thing about this product what would it be?

The Mamia Apple and Pear Fruit Pots pot is clear and therefore the product can be seen. As its pureed fruit, the colour is rather unappealing. It might be better to make the pot out of coloured plastic. If people would like to see some of the product perhaps it can have a window line on the pot?

Why would you recommend this product to a friend/fellow mum?

These Mamia Apple and Pear Fruit Pots are great! They taste lovely and my little one really likes them. They’re healthy with no nasty additives and just natural ingredients, 100% fruit and organic - just perfect. Really good value for money too.

How does this product make your life easier as a mum?

My baby loves the taste and enjoys eating them. They're healthy - 100% fruit, organic and no added sugar. Really yummy and good value for money.

If you could change one thing about this product what would it be?

I don't always use the whole pot and have to cover it with cling film to go in the fridge. It would be easier if they had a resealable lid for storage. Or if you could buy a pot with a lid the same size in the baby section to use for these fruit pots.
