NUK Ice Lolly Moulds are ideal for making fresh fruit lollies from pureed fruit and fruit juice, which is why the NUK Ice Lolly Set is ideal for warm summer days. It is perfect for making lollies quickly and easily, the cold lollies will also help to soothe sore gums during teething. The easy hold handles ensure your baby or toddler can hold onto their lolly comfortably, allowing them to enjoy the tasty fruit and deliciously refreshing flavours.

How did this product make your life easier?

Lauren: This makes my life easier as the moulds are so easy to use. These moulds are a great way of getting baby to develop their hand-eye coordination whilst having a yummy snack. The mould pockets are clear so it’s easy to see when pouring in your food for the lolly to the filling point and to check if they are fully frozen. There is also a grip part to help baby hold their lolly stick. These are so easy just to take out the freezer for a cooling down snack when it’s hot.

Ali: I like these moulds because they are well made and sturdy. They don't fall over and leak in the freezer. The design means that some of the drips are caught and they have a nice chunky handle that little hands can hold. The price is good and certainly cheaper than continually buying lollies in the shop!

Rhiannon: Teething is a biggie if you were to make a list of parenting challenges and so this product scores high on helping to soften that blow! The lollies seemed to really help my little boy’s teething as it gave him something cold to suck on and it lasted him a good while. It has also helped with weaning as I can make the lollies with endless combinations of purées and it was a more fun way for him to try them out rather than spoon-feeding. It also encourages self-feeding and kept my son entertained as he played around with it, giving me time to get stuff done.

Would you recommend this to other parents?

Lauren: I would recommend this product as the design is great. They are compact so don’t take up much freezer space and the clear moulds make it easy for you to see how much product to put in and to check when it’s ready to use. The moulds have four lollies on the square pack but you can also break these apart and use one lolly (the four can snap apart so you can use them individually). I found these also cleaned easily as you can put them in the dishwasher.

Ali: I would recommend them because they are good value for money and nice quality. My 11 month old was more than able to hold his own lolly and made less mess than I expected! Having moulds like these mean you can choose what to put in, so you can control how much sugar is in the lollies and vary it - sometimes we did squash lollies, other times frozen yoghurt!

Rhiannon: I would recommend this product to mums firstly because from opening the box to putting the moulds into the freezer it took less than 2 minutes - so really easy to use, especially as being mum to a 10-month-old means you have to do everything quickly and while juggling a million things! They’re easy to clean as they can go into the dishwasher and they’re not so bulky that they’re going to take up lots of cupboard space. They’re also a great tool for encouraging self-feeding as the handle is a great size for little ones to grasp and my little bum was able to hold onto it for much longer than I had expected. The feature of being able to clip the moulds together so they stand easily and are sturdy was a plus and made the process really simple. I also thought the moulds themselves were a good size - it made a prefect portion to give to my little one after their meal.

Would you choose this product above all others on the market?

Lauren: Yes I would choose this product over others because of it’s easy to use features. You can choose whether to put all four lolly moulds in or just the one, making it compact for freezer space. I love the clear moulds also as it makes it easy to fill so you know you are putting in enough food, you can also check when they are ready to eat. The grip makes it easier for baby to hold and they can be washed in the dishwasher. A great product for a great price.

Ali: I would choose this product above others on the market because it is good value for money. The moulds are a nice chunky design, good for little hands and there are no small flimsy bits which might snap off - a problem I have had with other lolly moulds previously. The lollies are also a good size for little ones.

Rhiannon: One of the main reasons I’d choose this product over other similar ones on the market is that I really like the fact you can make just one ice lolly if you wanted to. The moulds can clip together if you want to do all four but they easily detach if you don’t want to. It means that if I have a little bit of leftover purée I can quickly make a lolly, without having to take up a whole load of Freezer space. Another reason I would choose this product is that many other moulds made by different brands seem to make much larger lollies. That would both be a waste as my little boy wouldn’t finish it and also be a larger portion than I’d want to give him at this age anyway. Another plus is the simple design - it didn’t excite him too much that he was more bothered about playing with it than eating it!

What changes would you make to this product?

Lauren: I don’t think I can find an improvement on this product! It’s so easy to use and perfect for my teething baby to help soothe his gums. The grip handle makes it easy to use, with bright colours and durable material. This product has been perfect for hot days and is an affordable price. Great features that other products on the market don’t have.

Ali: I think if I could change one thing about the lolly moulds it would be the mechanism to snap them together. It seemed cute at first, but actually it was quite stiff and difficult to put back together once the moulds were full. Perhaps a little tray to stand the moulds in instead? I would also love to see a larger version for bigger kids!

Rhiannon: Firstly there were no instructions - I have to admit that baby brain did kick in for a split second and I wondered which part of the mould I was actually supposed to fill. I did think it was strange there weren’t any instructions. It would also be a nice addition to have some suggestions on the box of what you could fill the moulds with - it’s always great to have some new inspiration for weaning. My final point is that as my son got to the bottom of the lolly I did notice that he had a little more difficulty in eating it, but he is only just 10 months so is at the lower end of what I’d presume would be the appropriate age for this product.
