From Nemo to Toy Story, Pixar has brought us some pretty incredible films over the years, so it's no surprise our little ones get so obsessed with all the toys and merchandise from their favourite Disney Pixar movies.

One of our personal favourites is Cars. With three films in the franchise, there are loads of different Cars inspired toys to get your hands on. If your child is crazy for Cars, we've rounded up some of the best Disney Cars toys on the market that are perfect for playtime.

Disney Pixar Cars GJW44 Pixar Cars XRS Rocket Racing Super Loop
Price: $39.99

Who doesn't love a fun play car track with a loop? The kick-back launcher propels your vehicle at super speed down the track and the set contains a 1:55 scale plastic XRS Rocket Racer Lightning McQueen to get you started. One reviewer said: 'My boys are OBSESSSSEDDDDD, mamas if you want some free time to yourself then this will keep your boys and girls busy. Since having this my boys play with it every day and never get bored, also helps with independent playing too, a lot of cool features yet very simple design, a slight flimsy feel but it's actually not bad for the price you are paying for. Definitely highly recommend. My boy's excitement with every car that spins around it never stops.'

This Lightning McQueen Track Talker model emits iconic sounds from the Cars movie that your toddler is bound to know. It measures 14cm long and the other characters can also be collected.

With five different play areas and three levels of play, there's also space to store more cars between races! Featuring a working elevator between three floors, a paint shop, TV announcer area with a large screen monitor and camera, a car wash, tire and gas service area with a working lift, there's plenty to entertain kids.

Who doesn't love a good jigsaw? Not only are they great for developing their fine motor skills and that pincer grip, but they're also good for building skills such as concentration and creativity. This box contains four jigsaws perfect for children age 3+.

One reviewer said: 'My son loves Disney cars and puzzles. Not too many pieces so kids are not getting discouraged but also not too easy. The only thing I didn't like is that all pieces for all 4 puzzle sets are joined together in the box. They should be separated in bags.'

This colourful Cars 3 toolbox has a removable carry handle with four screws, two removable wheels, pliers, a pump and a lug wrench, open and closed-ended wrenches and two screwdrivers making it perfect for all their car fixing needs.

One reviewer said: 'Bought this for my nephew for his second birthday and it was a big hit. Good size, pieces aren't too small and kept his interest for a long time. I know he will get a lot of enjoyment out of it in the future. Plus he loves Cars so he really liked that it has his favourite characters on it. I would buy again.'

When switched on, this bubble wand lights up and sends a stream of bubbles out the back (don't worry - you can activate these separately if you don't fancy the bubbles).

One reviewer said: 'This product is great. My little boy loves them and loves that he can hold it and do it himself and I don't have to worry about bubble mixture spilling everywhere.'

How we test and choose recommended products

Our product recommendations are based on a combination of real-world testing from our burgeoning army of mum testers and the extensive knowledge of our experienced editorial team and product specialists. Where we can, we also consult experts who specialise in that field to ensure you get the right advice along with the right product, and we listen to what you say as well.

Our thriving mum community on our Facebook group #mumtribe consistently provides great insights into which products mums like best and why, helping us highlight the products that will meet your needs.

For essential products, our annual Mother&Baby Awards shortlist the top products tested. Full reviews from our mum testers can be found on our product pages. The winners and runners-up for each category will also appear in our top picks article for that product, along with other products that were rated highly by our team.
